Something different in Zihua. The Thai stirfry and curry dishes can be ordered with just vegetables and sometimes tofu. Very tasty. Consistently good.

Absolutely excellent once you are ready for a change of pace from local fish menus. Started with the Thai salad and Tuna sashimi. The salad had a very nice dressing and very fresh veggies. The sashimi wasn't traditional- it was seared and rolled in sesame, but impeccably fresh and flavorful. The mains were fettuccine with shrimp and white wine sauce,... More

El Murmullo has so much more than Thai food, but that is the direction we went based on our friends who had been there many times before. We choose Thai Curry with yellow sauce and a Thai Salad. My mouth is watering again just thinking about the wonderful flavors. The chef and owner, Israel, is very accomplished and you can... More

We had a lovely dinner at El Murmullo and were so impressed with the freshness and flavor of our meals. My husband was pleased to try something different, so had a Thai curry dish which he loved. My dorado was cooked to perfection. I had read on-line about a cooking class and inquired about it the next day based on... More

We have eaten all over playa la ropa and in town in Zihua. Murmullo was high on our list of places to try after all of the rave reviews. If you like Thai, pasta and fish, you will not be disappointed. This was our best meal all week for the least amount of money yet! AMAZING!! Eat here! You won't... More

We went to El Murmullo based on TA reviews. Once we found the restaurant, after our cab driver had to call his office to find the location, we were sadly underwhelmed. We shared the Mussels app, probably a mistake in MX, and they were fair. We both ordered the Pad Thai which seems to be the special of the house.... More

With only about a dozen tables, one chef and one waiter it is best to go early and then sit back and enjoy a relaxing, slow paced meal in this intimate setting. Opened since 2010, the exciting, unique dishes will please any eater. You will see elements of Thai, Italian and Mexican and the ingredients are very fresh and as... More

Interesting little restaurant in Zihuatenajo. Visited 3 times while recently on vacation in Ixtapa. Israel is a great host and an excellent chef. On one visit we had a party of eight, all whom were impressed by the service and the quality and variety of their meals. Try the steak or chicken witness the mushroom sauce or the Thai entrees.... I wish I would have found this place earlier on this vacation. WOW this Chef can cook! The Green Chicken Curry was just hot enough and full of flavor. Mahi appetizer was divine. Can't wait to return to have more dishes on the menu. Very nice presentation. My mouth is watering while writing this review. Oh yes I don't want... More
