Best bread in town

A very traditional, family owned bakery where everything is delicious, however the banana slice and the carrot bread are a must try!

New this year- Delicious loaf with olives and italian spices and parmesan cheese, ok maybe not traditional mexican but made a wonderful lunch sandwich with oaxaca cheese from the market and sliced avocado and tomato. Not sure that this item is available everyday. Also several types of wheat rolls with different spices. We found these in the afternoon not sure... More

The bakery is on a house, but they do have a sign outside. I went around 6pm and they were just starting to bring the afternoon bread. It´s fresh and you have a nice variety however nothing really special. The empanada filled with cajeta/dulce de leche/manjar is good. The pastries filled with tuna were not available at the time so... More

High quality, fresh baked breads and pastries. We went here three times during a week stay in the area, and I miss it already.

After our first visit my wife and I made it a point to stop back and get a few baked goods to snack on whenever we were in town. Very good baked goods and the woman at the counter (who was the owner/baker) was very kind and charming. Definitely worth a stop if you like pastries, breads, etc. and are... More

We bought rolls for breakfast and lunch. Empanadas filled with spicy tuna, ham, and cheese were okay when bought the day before for breakfast. Or buy sweet empanadas with small amount of fruit filling. Lots of varieties of traditional mexican pastries - usually not as sweet as USA pastries. They seem to be adapting to tourist tastes - saw chocolate... More

This is always a nice stop in town after eating dinner out to get goodies for the next morning and breads for special sandwiches etc. I love Mexican baked goods since they are not so sweet as in the United States. The sisters that run this bakery are such nice persons.
