Food, friendliness, service, outdoor dining. We loved our breakfasts there. Only regret is that we unfortunately didn't eat dinner there. Next time for sure.

We tried this restaurant for late lunch during our most recent trip, tucked away in quiet street behind the bridge in Zhiu, garden like setting, simple food but non the less delicious, just what we were seeking. You feel like you are eating in someone's home especially if you are sitting in the main room. No one was there when... More

Mauricio and Veronica run a cute, friendly establishment. The food is good and prepared with love. We visited in May during "off-season" and upon arriving were disappointed to find they were closed at dinner time. Their sign indicated they were open for breakfast and lunch and dinner by reservation. We returned for lunch since we were anxious to try the... More

I visit Zihuatenejo often, probably once a year. Every time I go I eat at El Arrayan at least 3 or 4 times for either breakfast or dinner or both. Why? The food is great. It not fancy and it's not street food, it's just solid, delicious food prepared with fresh ingredients and the menu is ever-changing based on what... More

Mauricio and Veronica run this small storefront restaurant on Calle Adelito in the Madera neighborhood of Zihua just a short walk from Playa la Madera. The food is excellent and carefully prepared. There is outdoor seating in a lovingly landscaped spot along the sidewalk with several hummingbird feeders in the trees. We visited for both breakfast and dinner on more... More

It's not downtown, but rather in La Madera on Calle Adelita, which you get to by turning left just before the roundabout if you are coming driving down the Playa la Ropa road. The restaurant is right beside one of the two footbridges that cross the canal. The chef cooks the entrees outside on a BBQ. This delightful man can... More

We read good things about El Arrayan on Tripadvisor before visiting so it was on our list of places to try. It was so good we ended up eating there two nights in a row. The fish changes daily based on the catch of the owner's local source. The first night it was swordfish and the next tuna. Both so... More

The chef is very nice. I made a reservation and they had our table waiting for us. Everything was delicious. Steaks, fish and salad were great.

My husband insisted we go back a second time. Why? Because he had to have the cheese stuffed shrimp covered in bacon ... Need I say more.
