Excellent food

Everything here is prepared to order. Atun steak cooked to perfection. Arrechero very tender and well flavored. Fish tacos were delicious on a couple of occasions. Far superior to many restaurants in Zihua All fresh and excellent

My husband and I had been curious to try El Arrayan because it comes so highly rated and we had walked by many times. My fish tacos were excellent - generous portion of fish with nice grilled flavour - and my husband enjoyed his coconut shrimp. The Chilean wine by the glass was fine. Like many restaurants here, they serve... More

This is my favorite restaurant in Zihu. All the food is good and the prices are right. Maurice the owner does the cooking on the grill while his wife keeps everything running in the kitchen. It has to noted that seating is limited and it is a popular spot so reservations are suggested.

We had the fish tacos and the kabobs. They were both delicious! They had a pineapple salsa served with our meals that was super tasty. The kabobs had chicken, beef, fish, shrimp and vegies along with pineapple. Wonderful combinations. The chef is grilling your food out in front of you while you wait and eat. Very personable, he came to... More

We have been visiting Zihuatanejo for 27 years and try to visit at least one new restaurant during each visit. El Arryan did not disappoint. The restaurant has a limited menu and everything is cooked on the grill by the owner. I enjoyed the Mahi Mahi which was delicious and my husband had the octopus which was a special on... More

We ate a few dinners here in November 2015. We walked past in the morning after breakfast, met the owner, and decided to come back for dinner. No regrets--great, fresh beef, fish, you name it. It's family run, a little quirky, reasonably priced. Since everything is grilled to order, be prepared to wait when it's busy. All seating is outside... More

After a long hot morning walk through town, we stopped for a cold beer at this restaurant. While paying the bill, the owner told my husband we should come back for dinner. I checked trip advisor and all reviews were very good so we went back that night. The tables are set among plants and small trees strung with lights,... More

We stumbled on this quaint restaurant several years ago. Not only is the food great, the owner is one of the friendliest we have met in Zihuatenjo...which is saying a lot because very few restaurants have an unfriendly atmosphere. The thing that attracted us to the restaurant were the tables hidden in between the flowers. The tables with umbrellas are... More
