Great meal at a very reasonable price

El Arrayan is our Not To Be Missed restaurant while we are in Zihuatanejo! Mauricio does not disappoint. This year we brought another couple with us for dinner who were equally impressed. Our favorite dishes are the mixed kebab, grilled shrimp with garlic and the mahi mahi. Grilled with love! Enjoy this gem on Calle Adelita!

This place is not fancy by any means, but the food is very good. They put grilled cactus in the fish tacos which made them very unique (and tasty).

One of our best meals in Zihua in the many years we have visited. The pride and attention to this small family inspired restaurant has truly made its mark. Try the cheese infused shrimp wrapped in bacon or catch of the day. This day a mouth watering bacon wrapped mega thick tuna steak with delightful array of smoked grilled fresh... More

Just the smell of the grill as we walked down the street drew us to stop and look at the specials for the night. We had read about this place on TA but hadn't eaten here yet. We met the owner Mauricio as he was working the grill and decided tonight was the night. It didn't disapoint, I asked what... More

My husband and I were walking and stopped in the afternoon for bottled water. The owner of El Arrayan asked if we had plans for supper. We said no, he showed us his fresh meat of pork chops and T Bone steaks. Being in the meat processing business at one time, we saw these were a "fresh" and "impeccable" choice... More

We found this restaurant last week when another one was closed and were surprisingly pleased. The ambiance is lovely, eating outside with the twinkling lights and great food. My husband had the grilled shrimp and I had fish. He thought it was the best meal he had all week and the value great! The staff were very attentive. Live music... More

We have been going here since they opened- was afraid they would not reopen after the street was repaired. I did not understand the couple of bad reviews for we have never had the experience that was noted. I had all ready did a review before and after reading I had to do another for this year. We had better meals. Maybe we expected too much because the reviews were so glowing. It's pleasant enough and food was okay, but it wasn't among the best meals we had.

We walk Adelita street every day we are in Zihua and are amazed at the number of small restaurants that offer very good food at very reasonable prices. Arrayan's has much of their food cooked on the outdoor grill. The kebab was excellent and the chicken leg & thigh was a very good entree at an amazing 70 pesos. The... More
