When you get tired with Mexican Cousine here is a place to refresh your taste buds! The chef is from Rome and the wife from Florence. And they cook! We disovered them to late to try everything but pizzas and pastas were fantastic. They even have cold Limoncello for the desert. Strongly recommended. Located 1 block off the waterfront square.

We were such fans when the cranky Italian man served the most amazing food in Zihuatanejo. It was sold to another Italian, and were we disappointed. Each dish that came out was dry. REALLY dry. The lasagna with bechamel sauce was crispy. Our friend's spaghetti was basically sauceless. When we asked for more sauce, they brought 4 tiny bowls of... More

Thank goodness for the change in ownership/. The previous owner had " issues" with some of the guests. The new owner is a very nice lady who will need to get a handle on the service. I agree with the previous poster - the service was slow and the waiter did not seem to be too interested - we wold... More

We had a wonderful meal....Pasta with meat sauce and a delicious mushroom pizza. However we both felt that the service could have been much better....It took about 10 minutes for the waiter to acknowledge our presence and set our table. He took our drink order but never brought a menu. That took another 10 minutes to arrive. Then he completely... More

The restaurant is in the process of changing ownership. The new owners recently arrived from Italy (via Guadalajara) and are vibrant and excited to be in Zihua. The food was excellent and the service exceptional. The night we were there (Feb. 28) they only were able to accept cash (I'm guessing this had something to do with the changing ownership),... More

We had visited this restaurant 4 times in the past two weeks because the food was excellent. Each time we visited we asked for separate checks which they graciously agreed. We went back this week and again asked for separate checks. The very polite and accommodating waiter sheepishly responded that separate checks were not available. We explained that we had... More

The owner, staff, ambiance and the FOOD is outstanding. And a fun place to see the local and expat "in crowd!"

We stayed in zihua for two weeks before Christmas. My wife and I have dined at dozens of restaurants over the past couple of years while vacationing in that lovely city. The attitude in that restaurant is not something I want to experience again. We asked numerous times for Bread and those requests were ignored. The owner found plenty of... More

Angelo's is one of the best restaurants in Zihuatanejo. Not only does he seek out incredibly fresh ingredients, he stays true to his Italian roots and offers his clients exceptionally delicious, well priced, authentic dishes in a very clean an tasteful environment. I have read the other comments from other visitors and would have to disagree completely with the negative... More
