My wife and I always enjoy our first meal at Chendos. The coconut shrimp are excellent, but the Mahi stuffed with shrimp and cheese is my favorite! After dinner, indulge your self with a nice crepe for dessert.

As one can see from other reviews, what they do with shrimp is wonderful. We found this on a Sunday nite, when many restaurants were closed, this is along the canal, and like most places in town, the look of the restaurant is no indication of the great meals. We had a variety of the shirmp dishes on the menu,... More

The restaurant was closed for remodeling until our last night in Zihuat. We knew exactly where we were going for dinner. My husband had the coconut shrimp and I have the shrimp and cheese stuffed mahi mahi. Was the best meal we have all week. That is not putting down other restaurant in Zihuat, as we did not have a... Chendos is a great choice for superb shrimp. I usually get the coconut shrimp, but have enjoyed the walnut shrimp as well. Outside of crazy downtown traffic, it's quite relaxing.

Had dinner here for the third year in a row. This is one of the best seafood restaurants in Zihuatanejo. First of wall, we are from Central Illinois and fresh seafood isn't available....anywhere, so to eat at a restaurant like this with these prices is spectacular. This time we both had the fish filet which was cooked to perfection. The... More

We always have the shrimp and local fish along with a bottle of wine and enjoy the low key atmosphere of this family run restaurant. The service is very attentive and the food is cooked to order. We enjoy having dinner here with its mix of locals and tourists. On our last visit the earth moved thanks to a 5.1... More
