Awesome tacos, great happy hour!

This was our first stop after a long travel day - greeted warmly and it was 2 for 1! The service and view is outstanding, the perfect start for our trip. Fish tacos were delicious. Stopped in again during our visit for happy hour because the traffic was backed up due to road construction. Why... read more

Went there for dinner and had a nice meal. Paty was actually there visitingcwith the guests and actually assisted us as the waiter understood very little English so she was kind enough to oblige and assist us.verygood salsa, but just know that when u order queso with the chips that just means they will sprinkle some grated cheese on top... We stayed at the Intrawest resort just a 5 minute walk down the beach from Paty's; let me tell you, the food, the drinks, the friendly service, the view....TOP NOTCH. Happy hour drinks are 2 for 1, still only about $4. We were in Zi for one week and ate there 3 or 4 times. We even brought our freshly... More

Sitting directly next to Villa Mexicana on La Ropa Beach, Paty's is not to be missed. It is basic, sits on the sand, takes you back in time, with good food and Margaritas that are dangerously strong. Good food, good music (light rock from the past) and great drinks. All this at rock bottom prices.

Fresh shrimp tacos. Chicken tacquitos. Guacamole y salsa very good. Plus four beers. With tip around $30 US. Can't go wrong on Playa La Ropa.

On the beach at Playa Ropa, the service is superb. It's great to wiggle our toes in the sand and drink cold drinks and eat good food. This is the second year we have come back to this little place as the food and atmosphere are wonderful. The fish tacos are deep fried unlike the ones on the Caribbean side... More

We had a fun and satisfying meal here, my companions having fresh seafood dishes, while I tried the special: a chicken dish in a tasty cream sauce. It was out of this world. Help was great and the food was promptly served. Location could not be better (right on the waves).

We ate here twice during the two days we spent on Playa Ropa. It is a bit of a walk down the beach but it is well worth it. One night I had Tortilla Soup (excellent) an my husband had fresh fish prepared in a Mexican style. The next night we shared Fajitas and another fish dish. All were well... More

The most delicious fresh, local and tasty food to satisfy a French and Californian/Mexican palate. The setting is the best, the atmosphere is wonderful, diverse and alive! The service is mellow, relaxed like it should be, the food is beautifully presented. You feel like you have arrived exactly where you wanted to be for a pleasant vacation or permanent stay.... More

We ate here one evening after a day on the beach and the first thing to say is the service is terribly, terribly slow. The food, once it arrived, was fine, and the location is excellent to watch the sunset, but honestly if you're not a patient person the slow service will rile you.
