We ate/drank here three of ten nights--and enjoyed each evening. great happy hour drinks that led to dinner. Don't be in any great hurry, as the staff had a real 'ho hum' attitude. A typical beach place...and worthy of your visit.

Good spot for breakfast or lunch. Pancakes are especially good. Coffee is medium strong. Lunch is decent for a beach place. Try the Margarita Lime pie. Service can be spotty. Digging ones toes in the sand always makes it better. Better than a 3 but not a 4 .

...but when I'm in Zihua I eat a Paty's. Best fried red snapper ever. Breakfast was spot on with eggs my way! I'll be there at 7am when they open this morning. Best food on the beach. Cap'n Paul

My husband and I are staying at La Ropa beach for 3 months. We went to Paty's on our first day at the beach and loved everything about it: the cleanliness and organization of the place, new loungers and umbrellas, attention to detail for the pleasure and comfort of families with children, the impeccable service and delicious food. There is... More

We arrived at 6:30 to have drinks, ordered dinner at 7:00 and received our stone cold food at 8:30. One person in our party got something that she didn't order and finally got her correct dinner about 10 minutes later when we asked about it. After initially ordering drinks and chips, no one returned to bring more chips, bread, or... More

My husband and I have eaten both lunch and dinner here over four years of vacationing in Zihuatanejo. It seems that it has deteriorated both in quality of food and service. My husband usually orders the fish tacos, and I order avocado stuffed with shrimp. Both dishes were just mediocre. The thing that frustrated us most was the poor service.... More

Paty's has good food, although not any better than nearby locations, a spectacular location where they let you sit as long as you like, but slow, sullen service that brings down a potentially outstanding experience. I asked for change for a 100 peso bill immediately after giving a 30 peso tip in change and was refused. "No cambio, no cambio"... More

Had two dinners after Happy Hour, both were great but the lime margarita dessert was simply awesome. The owners were especially helpful in facilitating in a special menu request

We didn't stay here, but Paty has the most beautiful yoga studio I've ever seen (including Silky Oaks in Australian Daintree rainforest and Coral Casino in Montecito, Ca). Paty is an excellent teacher whom one can tell is knowledgable and passionate about Yoga. The view is second floor over the ocean.

We had the Tiritas. Our first time and oh my goodness they were amazing. Service was terrific and the drinks incredible. We got lucky and a mama turtle came up to lay her eggs. Our waiter was so protective of her. Just warned my heart.
