....if you want a relaxing quiet place to dine avoid Bandido's anytime there is a soccer game. They have maybe 8-10 huge TVs and the place is nuts during games. In "non-game" days it's quite civilized. And if you know of the hand-carved stone dish called 'molcajete' then this is your place. The seafood molcajete here is the best in... More

"Vamos Patos" was the predominant cheer from the crowd watching the college football championship game. The place was packed with Ducks fans but there were a few of us Big Ten fans. My team is Michigan,I was somewhat conflicted but actually cheered for the hairless nuts (aka Buckeyes ). An even bigger surprise than the game score was the high... More

At the end of December we decided to try Bandido's on the recommendation of a friend who traveled to Zihua several times. On the waiter’s recommendation I ordered Shrimp in Love ($285 pesos), my husband ordered Beef Fajitas ($140) and our son ordered the Pork chops ($180). All three of us loved our meals and we really enjoyed the salsa... More

Watched the Ducks-Buckeye game as well as the Seahawks-Panthers game--January 2015. Lots of big TVs and comfortable setting. Had good drinks with lots of good food...I had a shrimp/chicken kabob on both nights. Staff was fun, prompt, and helpful. Prices seemed quite reasonable, A good spot to meet with a gang for a fun evening. Bought the tee shirt.

this is a rockin place, noisy with several tvs showing sporting events. The service was good but I ordered "fresh" tuna & unfortunately it came to me still frozen in the middle. Prices were to high for the quality of the food

THis place is the place to hang with other gringos. The food is mostly Mexican and decent. It has a Sports Bar atmosphere. Sometimes an Ex French Canadian Michelle sings Cabaret tunes . She is a blast. Her songs are very torchy. Anyway. Banditos is fun a good place to eat drink and take in the town atmoshere. Like most... More

What a great find. We were staying at the Viceroy and it was highly recommended by a couple we met in the pool. They STRONGLY recommended the molcajete and it was amazing. Our group of 6 tried 3 different ones - the seafood, the fish and the carne asada. I'd say the fish was my favorite but all were great... More

Bandido's came highly recommended so we had to try it. It did not disappoint, the food, drinks, service, and even the bathrooms were all great! Had the molcajete & a daily special pork taco, everything was so yummy that we both left stuffed!

Live music and dinner was excellent -- even the teenagers liked it! The service was wonderful and the bathrooms were some of the nicest we experienced in Ixtapa and Zihua restaurants.

I have eaten at Bandido's four times now. It is both a favorite of my wife and of my two boys. The quality of food is always good and there are not any suprises. The wait staff also goes above and beyond to make sure that your meal is enjoyable. We have ordered the molcajete, the whole snapper and the... More
