Nice Respite!

We stopped in at Bandido's for a margarita when walking around Zihua and enjoyed the rest and the service. We found the people in Zihua very nice and accomodating and Bandido's was no exception. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and would go back anytime! The fresh salsa and guacamole made at the table were the best I've eaten (and I've had more than my share!). The atmosphere is authentic, and welcoming. Location near the market, as well as the Town Square. We visited on a Sunday night and were able to enjoy some... More

This Restaurant bar is well located across from the artisinal market area in downtown Zihua. They have live music and the salsa is prepared at table side. They also have great Camarones

This is a tough place to rank. Yes you go to eat and you want great food, fabulous service and a local flare. Bandido's comes close on all accounts and it is open Monday nights. To be a purist I have to say this is more a bar with good food than a great restaurant with good music. The shrimp... More

So nice to go to a place in Mexico, off the resort, feel the ocean breeze and enjoy some really good food and drinks with friends. To go where your presence is not begged but appreciated. They bought us a drink when we were done...

We went to this place based on a review from a guy we met from Alberta at the Condo complex we were staying at. They have live music, service is great. Everything we ordered was really good as were the drinks. Music is a little loud but fun. Pasta, steaks, salads and seafood were really good.

We always like Bandido's . We go to Zihua often and when we are with friends who are there for their first time we go to Bandido's. It seems to be in everyones comfort zone. Mexican and touristy but It has good food, plenty of english speaking staff, TV for those special sports times. The food is consistently good! Good... More

It was early evening. We received a table beside the sidewalk and street. It is a busy location with bumper to bumper traffic beside the restaurant. A band started playing traditional local artist Mexican music and we finally received our meal. There was a considerable delay between our order and the arrival of the food. Perhaps it was geared to... More

It was a cool restaurant where it seemed mostly tourists ate. It was pretty overpriced and the food was just average.
