LCQC is worth checking out, but there's about 5 or 6 other spots worth trying first. The sound of the crashing surf against the cliffs is the main attraction here, and the staff was both very friendly and helpful. LCQC is the only place in town with a dress code, namely no sandals or shorts for men. And as long... More

This is a beautiful site and the ambience is very good. The food is only so-so and by no means cheap. The menu is also quite limited. We had trouble finding anything we really wanted to eat. You'd be much better off to go to Amuleto where you can enjoy a fabulous three, four or five course meal. The view... More

This is a beautiful restaurant in a beautiful hotel, siting atop a cliff looking over the harbour. The view at sunset is absolutely spectacular. We read up on the hotel as it was rated fifth internationally so we wanted to try the restaurant as it was just down the road from where we were staying. Firstly, they wanted 570 pesos... More

Well this has to be one of the biggest surprises of visiting Zihuatanejo Zihuatanejo is a seedy down market city of perhaps 60,000 inhabitants in the state of Guerrero. It has been a tourist destination for décades. Those tourists are now drawn rather to Ixtapa and to its newer development 10km northward on the coast. But hidden in this grubbiness... More

We have visited this restaurant several times on our vacations to Zihua and found it magical. It is a wonderful break from the noisy and everyday restaurants and it is a luxurious and visually stunning restaurant. Our last visit was hugely disappointing due to the food. Whe nothing has changed regarding the ldecor and view, the food was very ordinary.... More

This is supposed to be one of the top restaurants in Zihuatanejo and the prices certainly reflect that. While the setting and view are spectacular and the service top notch, the food was simply just average and definitely not worth the money.

Although they could settle for wowing guests with the incredible setting and views, the food is as much of a star here as everything else. One person in our party claimed the tamale starter to be the best he had ever eaten. The yellow snapper on the duo dish was simply outstanding - I couldn't get enough of it.

Eight of us went to this restaurant to celebrate our friends wedding anniversary and we were all disillusioned and underwhelmed by the quality of the food - virtually all our dishes needed improvement. I will start by saying that the setting could not be bettered - very romantic and very scenic and the service was excellent. The food and drinks... More

We found this restaurant to be the gold standard on our vacation. One of the two best views in the city and cuisine that is outstanding. Our server Cesare was impeccable in his attention and quite thoughtful about recommendations-- for example when asked to recommend a wine, he advised a reasonable and quite enjoyable Mexican Chardonnay at $30-$50 less than... My husband and I decided to re-visit this beautiful restaurant with our 9 and 10 year olds just last week. He proposed to me here almost 20 years ago. It is lovely and magical as always. The scenery is unbeatable and the food was superb. Service was great too. A word of caution though, there are a lot of steps... More
