Beautiful but..

gorgeous hotel and restaurant but... my husband had a crab-stuffed "something" that didn't taste right and became ill for days after. We were the only diners there on our last night and it's a good tip to ask what's fresh if their fish may be sitting for a few days because of low season.

We were staying at another hotel in Zihua and some friends recommended La Casa for a birthday dinner. The atmosphere was great, we were seated near the edge and could see the waves crashing, birds feeding, a few small boats in the bay, and the beautiful sunset during dinner. The food was good and the staff were nice.

While staying at Las Brisas in March friends invited us to La Casa Que Canta for dinner and it was a superb experience. The hotel is beautifully designed, landscaped and maintained with the restaurant affording spectacular open-air views over the bay. The service from our waiter Irving and his team was first class. All three courses were expertly prepared and... More

Beautiful restaurant and bar setting on the cliffs overlooking Zihuatanejo Bay. Maybe 15 tables so it was quiet with a wonderful view of the bay. The service was great and the food was also. Nice selection of fare. Enjoyed it so much we recommended it to our daughter and son-in-law as well as to our son and his wife for... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at LCQC. Great service, nice staff, attentive and personalized service are a given! The food was good, but not exceptional and the romantic dinner for two in our room (the romance package) was good but with gaps in service that spanned far too long between courses. The salt-water pool was exfellent, the tour arrangements/acccomodations/reservation services... More

Without doubt, the Casa que Canta is one of the most beautiful places to eat in Zihuatanejo, with lovely views, and, above all, an internal environment with an abundance of glorious works of art and objets d'art. Unfortunately, the food doesn't match up to the surroundings, and my wife and I were both disappointed with the quality of the food... More

We have been traveling to the Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo area for close to 20 years and this is still one of our favorite restaurants. It is part of a hotel that is cleverly carved into the hillside with caves, grottoes and pools that cascade down the slope. Dining tables are set at multiple levels often around the pools. We visited this time... More

Fancy, romantic and perfect in every way. The view of Zihuatanejo Bay is spectacular and the sunset was special, as usual we took more pictures than is reasonable for a phenomena that happens every day. You are guided from the entrance of this small boutique hotel to a stunning patio restaurant as you marvel at the ever expanding view but... More

My wife and I ate dinner here one night during our stay. This was probably the best meal of the trip (better than Tentaciones up the hill). The views of the water and sunset are outstanding, the service was great as was the food. Overall, highly recommend.
