The fresh seafood at this restaurant was amazing. It was recommended by the trip desk at the hotel as a local, fresh seafood place. It was incredible. It is located one block from the beach in centro Zihua. It is casual, but nice. Good margaritas and quac - but the seafood dinner I had is what is making me rave... More

Tucked away behind Pasco del pescador is a local gem, family owned and seafood fresh as can be, after all they are a fisher family. BUT the Paella is gob smacking, mind you it takes over 1 hour to cook and that's how it should be. One of the 10 best in the world you will everhave.

We ended up coming here two nights in a row on our recent stay. We came in the first time at the recommendation of our taxi driver. Since we wanted to watch baseball playoffs, the fact that they had multiple screens tuned to the game was a plus. Once seated, our waiter had told us that they had lobsters as... More

We went in the low season, so it was pretty quiet but lovely. We were staying at the Viceroy and although that was great, we wanted to venture out to town and enjoy the food there and not pay so much (as it was getting pricey eating at the hotel all the time). This place was recommended to us and... More

The first night of our annual Zihuatanejo is by tradition Garrobos. The fish is always fresh, their shrimp in orange sauce appetizer is delicious and the pico de gallo is one of the best. No air conditining so sit under a fan and ask the server for a couple of cushions for the wooden chairs - they get a bit... More

we stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant thru the advice of la casa que canta...and the food was terrific. shrimp/fish tacos were so good we ate here 3 times during our 10 day stay. staff is pleasant and accomodating and all the food is cooked to order - an absolutely pleasant memory...

On our recent visit to Zihuatanejo we had lunch at Garrobos. We enjoyed it very much and planned to go back at night, but never made it. This is another reason we have to return to the area. Garrobos will be one of the first places we visit. I had the fish tacos, although tasted like they might have some... More

We were starving when we went here so things probably tasted better than normal and even so, was not great. Service was wonderful but food was so so. Cute atmosphere but pricey for what you received. Would probably not go back

I've eaten here several times and have liked the items oin the menu without sauces. The sauces can have a lot of catsup in them which is not really a favorite of mine. Their campechenos (I'm probably mispelling that) and cevice are great.
