Absolutely fine dinning!!

By far the best dinning experience I have had in Zihuatanejo or Ixtapa! From the courtyard dinning or having appetizers and drinks at the bar Coconuts has a wonderful ambience, great service and excellent food!

Atmosphere, service and food were beyond our expectations! We loved the entire experience -- five star dining in quaint, wonderful Zihautanejo. Made us feel very special and the bananas flambe provided the perfect ending to a superlative evening. I would highly recommend Coconuts to anyone wanting a delicious meal in tropical surroundings that you'll never forget!

Nice restaurant to go for supper. Very good food. Only open at night. Romantic dinner for two or great for a bigger group too. Small white lights in the hedges surrounding the dining area and candlelights on the tables make the whole area beautiful.

We always make a visit to this restaurant at least a couple of times when we are in zihuatenajo . The service is exceptional and the food is always fresh and nicely plated. You couldn't find nicer people and the garden atmosphere is beautiful. Be sure and have Abel make his special crepes or bananas for you. The show is... More

Excellent restaurant with great food, excellent staff and nice atmosphere. We went there 5 times over a six week period in early 2012. We have been going there for years and always visit several times each visit to Ixtapa/Zihau.

To all who love Mexico.... Can't believe some negative remarks re: this fine restaurant. We have been regulars for l5 years plus... major holidays and several times each visit. The food, ambiance, service is the best. Arturo... wonderful server.. Attentive and knows the menu from top to bottom. They have gone through some changes... but in our estimation... all for... Ok, very expensive but the atmosphere was terrific. In a courtyard with fantastic lighting... However, very pricey for what you get. I had a fabulous vegetarian pasta dish for $180 pesos. Just pasta no meat. They had a filet mignon for $380 pesos. Lots of fish and seafood. Again, it was good but we ate at some great restaurants in... More
