Based on the local buzz, we went to this sweet-looking open-air restaurant with high hopes. The menu had some interesting items, the atmosphere was great, and the service was exemplary. The food disappointed me considering the prices, which were around those of mid-line LA restaurants. The pork chops were good as was the chiles rellenos, the game hen was weirdly... More

Back in Z for the second time taking advantage of our Club Intrawest membership and got to go to Coconuts. Meant to go last time but ran out of nights. There was a guitar festival in town and they had one of the galas here. Great wine, great service, and the food was amazing. Best red snapper I may have... More

This is the kind of consistant cooking that you look for in a restaurant. It also has a beautiful outdoor dining room that is very romantic. Excellent dinner and desset, just the right portions, super margaritas, second visit. Would always return.

Coconuts never disappoints! It has been a family tradition to visit Coconuts on every annual trip to Mexico. They always have exceptional 5-star service, a fresh and creative menu and superb show with their Bananas flambe and Mexican coffee specials. We highly recommend making this a part of your Ixtapa-Zih vacation, as it is not to be missed. Enjoy!

Coconuts never fails. In all the times we have been here, we have never failed to have a wonderful meal, outstanding service coupled with reasonable prices. How can you go wrong?? Love the live music.....especially Juanito. After dinner with a cappuccino and music to fall in love with the place again....

Once again we had a terrific experience at Coconuts. The food was delicious and elegantly prepared. We had Mexican coffee prepared table side with a glorious presentation. The courtyard setting with pretty lights and soft live music makes it a very special occasion.

We've eaten here nearly annually for the last 16 years. EVERY time is a delight. It's tough to beat the ambiance of this twinkly light courtyard located in the oldest building in Zihua. The service is always stellar and every meal has been delish! This time we had the pleasure of dining there on Valentine's Day and were so happy... More
