The best!!

I went to Coconuts last Saturday with my boyfriend for my first time, some friends recommended it and we were hesitant to try it. We did try it and we are so glad we did, this is the best restaurant in all of Zihua and Ixtapa combined, hands down. The food was excellent, I had the Coconut Shrimp... read more

We have eaten here on a previous visit and enjoy coming back. The service is excellent and the food is an excellent value. I had the curry shrimp and it was outstanding. Another person has the Lobster and it was also plentiful and great. The deserts are a show not to be missed. We had a version of bananas foster... More

we have been vacationing in zihuatenajo for years. We always go to Cocunuts restaurant, this was the first year I brought my daughter for a mother/ daughter trip. She fell in love with Cocunuts! The music was fabulous, we danced with the bartenders and the manager treated us so professionally! The atmosphere is beautiful! I usually go there with my... More

My wife a I hadn't been to Coconuts in the past couple of trips to Zihua but ventured back and we are so glad we did. The food was fantastic and the service was the same. The manager Ron was on site making sure everything was perfect for the guest. The live music was romantic that made a great atmosphere... More

I have visited here twice before in other years and had decided that I didn't care whether I returned. I decided to go however after I heard positive things about the new ownership. The menu has changed for the better, the owner is onsite, the service is excellent, the food presentation professional and their is live music in the background.... More

I applaud Coconuts for a beautiful dinner during a very busy event. My husband and I both had the red snapper which was perfectly cooked and moist, with a light wine, lemon and caper sauce. The evening was delightful.

Hello Katie, Yes, the guitar festival was a very busy and successful event here at Coconuts. We had two nights of wonderful guitar music. Tuesday night we were sold out and at full capacity, many walk ons tried to come but we could not accommodate them all. Thank you for your comments and glad you enjoyed yourselves. Coconuts!!! More

This is a nice restaurant with great food at fairly high prices for the area. The atmosphere is top notch, food selection and wine list excellent, and try the flaming Mexican coffee or bananas Foster for desert!

Yes a bit spendy but worth it. Outdoor dining. Great service. Mrs had the hearts of palm salad and red snapper for her main. I had the fried calamari and a surf and turf main that they put together for me - a petite filet and 3 coconut shrimp. Just wonderful. Everything beautifully prepared. Had the oaxacan brownie with ice... More
