such a cool restaurant, outdoors in a floral courtyard. it's a really great inviting, quiet environment, and the food was really great! Service was also very good, and made for a great evening out with friends. highly recommended.

We so very much enjoyed the atmosphere, food, drink, and most of all the jovial and humble service of all this establishment's employees, thank you from Linda & Anita

apparently, the place changed hands, but it was a good thing the staff is still intact the menu is largely the same for those who haven't been, this is the old plantation house rather elegant - by zihua standards a MUST on every trip

Coconuts is like a magnet. Once you go, you just keep getting pulled back! We spent a month in Zihua from mid Feb. to mid March and visited Coconuts several times. We could sit "bar side" and watch a large screen T.V. The Olympics were on when we were there. Weather it was just for drinks, Mario and Alejandro took... More

Coconuts is housed in a building oozing with that "old Mexico" charm, and it has an incredible outdoor courtyard surrounded by towering trees and lush vegetation that alone makes it worth a visit. Not to mention that they have a live two-piece band playing while you dine. The food was delicious and the portions were plentiful. The owner/manager was very... More

Was passing by and decided to walk in. I saw live music, people well dressed and decided to have a drink. ( I thougt it was going to be expensive) It was 6:30 pm. I sat in the back ( the launge área) with 2 AC units and two large 55 inch screen TV’s. The bar tender told me about... More

We spent our last evening in Zihuatenajo at Coconuts for dinner. Although the price was quite expensive for a restaurant in Zihuatenajo, you'll find it's worth it. The quality of the food is five stars. Although Coconuts is in the middle of Zihuatenajo, the setting inside is quite secluded. You have the option of sitting outside, which we did, or... More

I really like the restaurant because of its incredible atmosphere and outstanding service. Live music, wonderful green patio in the fresh air where you can feel like in a luxary home, nice people, great design. They might need to have a bit more vegetarian food, but even the simple vegetarian things that they can offer and inprovizations of their cheff... More

Awesome place, delicious dinner and excellent service. We had a great time. Thanks to our favourite waiter Abraham for the amazing dessert show :-) And don´t miss the fabulous drinks at the bar. Professional bartenders, great entertainment and a lot of fun! Thanks to Alejandro y Mario. We can´t wait to come back :-)

Coconuts Restaurant has a Simply Marvelous Atmosphere, Food, Presentation, Service, Entertainment. Coconuts and the Staff have been one of the highlights of my time in Zihua. Juan Pablo runs everything like clockwork, he implements all you can imagine to make your dining experience a pleasurable event. Each time I have ordered a dish it was excellent, fresh, and the presentation... More
