a very busy sea food restaurant

Not to knock its reputation, but prepare to stand in line for very expensive Margaritas and some pretty average service and food. I didn't get it, and it was my second visit.

I love Joe Jack's! Well, I used to live Joe Jack's. I have a fatal allergy to nuts and can't go anymore as there are bowls of nuts only the bar - and I'm worried about cross contamination. If you do go, I recommend the fish tacos!

This restaurant has fabulous seafood. We didn't try any other type of protein but the seafood was awesome. The first year we didn't go upstairs so the bottom floor was a bit crowded. The next year we went up stairs to the roof. Very open air and very pleasant . Food was still excellent. Going upstairs is a bit of... More

This is a tourist trap place for the most part. The food is decent, but given that there are so many truly amazing placed to eat at in PV I was pretty underwhelmed. I haven't tried the fish and chips that were mentioned, we got some pretty standard Mexican fare that was just ok. The upstairs patio is nice.

I'm a foodie and I like to seek out local/delicious or high end/creative - so I did not at all consider this place because of it's extremely white name. It is definitely Mexican for anglos - but it's also SUPERB. They have these avocado and shrimp tostadas that are like the best shrimp cocktail ever but with avocado - PILED... More

Coming from New Zealand you know good battered fish. One night every week in NZ we would have our fish and chips as a family dinner, certainly not in Kamloops, Canada where I live now. Two nights ago had Joe Jacks fish and chips as heard it’s a winner. Can hardly wait to go back. Anyone who truly know’s good... More

We're regular visitors to Puerto Vallarta, and no trip is complete without a visit to Joe Jack's. The restaurant is popular, and it's best to have a reservation for dinner, although they always seem to find a way to get you in if you're patient and not in a big hurry. The restaurant is always packed for dinner, and it's... More

We never miss Joe Jacks when we are in PV. This last visit we had the fish tacos and strawberry mojitos, delicious! I like that the owner seems to always be there.

Great food: guacamole, margueritas, and really good burgers as well as Mexican! Phenomenal hot brussel sprout dish! What a crazy thing to mention, but it's true. Even if you don't think you like brussel sprouts, you may want to give this a try!
