This is a small restaurant just down the street from the small tunnel. Very quaint Mexican restaurant with delicious food. A must try and the prices are reasonable.

I am not one of those people that exaggerates and says every meal I have is the best meal ever. But the Chicken Breast Perfil at El Brujo may just be the best thing I have ever eaten. I'm not even normally a huge meat eater, but this was delicious. Who knew chicken, potatoes, onions and garlic could be so... More

I have had two meals here and am so glad to have found it. On my first visit i had the stuffed fish fillet which i savored every bite. I typically don't like to have the overly full feeling but I couldn't resist finishing the entire meal.. It was not only an excellent dish, but the wait staff were very... More

I was going to order a nacho platter appetizer in addition to my main fajitas dish and the waiter was nice enough to inform me that the nacho platter was huge. I skipped the nachos and opted for guacamole instead. It was a lot of food for just one person. I had not eaten all day and managed to eat... More

Yes, there are plenty of tourists at night and it's tough to get in. That's why I eat with the locals during the afternoon. A twenty minute stroll straight out Carranza from the heart of Old Town and you're out in the neighborhoods close to the tunnel. You'll know when you're there by the enormous tree out front. It's not... More

The food was excellent - octopus was the best I ever had! Drinks were very good too. My only comment is they could provide more personable service - the guys were watching a television show while waiting on us. Didn't feel very special...although I have to say the food was great. Just a little more attention and contact with the... More

I always visit El Brujo when I am in town. The Dragon shrimp is perfect if you like a spicy dish. All of the stuffed fish dished are cooked to perfection. I prefer the pasta side instead of the rice and salad. The pasta with seafood is also great! The service is always spot on. Do not forget your camera... More

This restaurant off the beaten tourist path not too far from Zona Romanitica in Puerto Vallarta is one of my favorite places in Mexico. Every time I visit PV visiting El Brujo is a must. Their food is consistently good and the portions are ample for eaters like me. The fact that local people eat at this restaurant is testimony... More

This is a charming restaurant we have returned to several times over the years. We always manage 2 or 3 visits when in Puerto Vallarta. The food is very good, fresh and they can accommodate a vegetarian with no problems. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and we always seem to run into someone we know when we go.... More

This was our 4th visit to El Brujo and we are never disappointed. Everything we have tried here has been good and the service is excellent. The other thing they have is "lemon" margaritas which are VERY good. Our daughter got a second one in a "to go" cup after our meal. Reasonable prices, great service, big portions, great food....
