Expensive but good, not great I stopped here because marisima wasn't opened Seafood oriented...clean and positive. Shrimp taco and crab enchiladas are really quite good. Full, really full of shrimp-crab. Expensive but tasty. Although its off the beaten track, it's totally gringo (expat) oriented. Although I'm more a street stand--- I'm glad I tried it.

Unlike the crowded restaurants we sometimes encountered closer to the beach, this spacious dining room and relaxed, competent, polite service was a pleasure. We definitely enjoyed the food. Not at all pretentious. Nice portion sizes and well-prepared.

Visited this place for dinner last night and know it's highly touted by travellers and locals alike. I don't get it. It is out of the way and locally owned which I like. But overall the place is a bit expensive, considering. The locals with me enjoyed their meals greatly. I did not. I had a Cielo Rojo ($45p) We... More

The fajitas were exceptional. One was chicken the other was shrimp. More food then we could eat which provide a second meal the next day. As always the margaritas were great, good tequila.

I love oysters, but am hesitant to order them in many restaurants. El Brujo offers several options served on the half shell; all safe and delicious.. I especially enjoy their Oysters Rockefeller, which is hard to find on US menus. I've eaten here many times over the years w/o incident. Also the fajitas are really good. Prices are very reasonable... More

Friends had told us to make sure we try El Brujo for dinner one night. It's not located near all the other restaurants in the Basio Badillo area, but the short taxi trip is well worth it. Food was fantastic. The tortilla soup was some of the best I've ever had and the coconut shrimp was nothing short of fabulous.... More

I had a Friday night dinner here. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, food service is fast, and the food is delicious. I can recommend almost anything on the appetizer menu. I stuck to apps and drinks, not sure how the main courses are. The friends I was with loved the main courses. The margaritas on the rocks are not... More

After checking through trip-advisor prior to our visit we decided to give it a try, Tuesday evening quiet short 10 minute walk up the street from Daiquiri Dicks. Food was plentiful we shared an appetizer and main course fajitas and we could not finish, service was quick and polite/helpful, would recommend to friends
