Chef Miriam and her classes--don't miss!

Chef Miriam is delightful! She has had so many interesting experiences, and she brings them all to her classes. She stresses fresh and simple, but the taste is anything but simple! You start with the best margarita ever, and then she shares the recipe. Each week features a different... read more

Chef Miriam is delightful! She has had so many interesting experiences, and she brings them all to her classes. She stresses fresh and simple, but the taste is anything but simple! You start with the best margarita ever, and then she shares the recipe. Each week features a different Mexican-inspired cuisine, with only the freshest ingredients. She steps you through... More

Wonderful food and service. The owner/chef visits every table to talk about the food, where you're from, etc. They also offer cooking classes. Four of us signed up for classes scheduled for March 3, 2015. We are looking forward to the adventure.

This was my first time in Mexico and La Luna's Cooking Class with Chef Miriam and Paul was definitely one of the best highlights of my vacation. I love how you could see the passion for food that Chef Miriam possessed and it definitely contributed to the easy going atmosphere of the whole class. And can I just say that... More

Chef Miriam and Paul offered an excellent cooking class with great food, service, recipes that I could make at home, much information about food and tequila and ingredients. I highly recommend this on your trip to PV. FYI the restaurant is closed and she is only doing the classes. They book up quickly as they are small classes. Go for... More

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the cooking class by Chef Miriam. Though slightly daunting, I'm looking forward to making my own mole! Great drinks and sous chef work by Paul, very detailed and yet easy to follow recipes and instruction from Miriam, fun interaction and a great hands-on dinner!

My 3 rd class with Chef Miriam. We were invited into her home. She shared her history and perspective on the basics of Mexican cooking, fresh foods and the essence of different spices. The class is a maximum of 8 people so it is very personal. We used the traditional mocajete.(not sure of spelling) for salsa and marinade. The emphasis... More

This was my first experience at La Luna and it won't be my last! The evening started out with Paul showing us how to be the perfect margarita ... now I've been spoiled and won't settle for anything else. Chef Miriam's passion is contagious and refreshing. Simply had a wonderful experience and look forward to my next visit. Thank you... More

We had a fabulous cooking class with Chef Miriam and Paul. Listening to the wonderful story of Miriam shared with us and truly appreciating the wonderful Mexican food that she creates. She told us the simple things we can take home and eat not only good food but the great way to use the herbs and fresh ingredients. That being... More

The cooking class with Chef Miriam was the highlight of my trip. It was exciting to learn new techniques and recipes that are simple and use fresh food and spices. The class size is small, only 8 people, and was perfect for hands on experience and getting to know everyone. Paul shared how to make the perfect margarita and had... More

We once again took a cooking class from Chef Miriam and we were not disappointed. A completely different menu, a new setting, new stories from her background, and even more emphasis on fresh and natural ingredients. This particular menu taught us a lot about enjoying family and friends when entertaining by preparing ingredients ahead of time using classic, time honored... More
