Marisma is located in old PVR before you get to the tunnel. My Husband and I have both agreed that this is the best place for fish & shrimp tacos. There's also other items on the menu. Lots of great sauces to choose from andvery cheap price (8 tacos with soda/water for less than $20). My vacation to PVR is... More

Came here as part of a food tour (Vallarta Eats- great tour). The fish taco was delicious and you have so many options for sauces to try on it. I recommend trying the one in the rectangular dish (see my taco to see what it looks like). It is different and delicious.

Service was above average but the tacos are excellent. It is a sidewalk café so interior facing table is the best.

During a trip to Puerto Vallarta 3 months ago, someone recommended Marisma's. I loved it. I am visiting again now, and of course it's been lunch at Marisma's every day. Unfortunately I started out with the fish tacos, and haven't tried anything else from the menu. The fish is breaded and cooked on demand. The tortillas are fresh (the tacos... More

...BUT, if you go here, you gotta like fish! If not go elsewhere!!! But if you do. This is the place for a good lunch (1 taco), or a quick dinner (two tacos) -dorado (mahi-mahi), shrimp, or smoked marlin. The serving size is huge, and for only 20 pesos each. My favorite is the dorado taco - fresh, fresh, fresh.... More

We stopped here during our Vallarta Eats taco tour, and I tried the fish taco, even though I really do NOT like fish most of the time. It was so good and fresh and not fishy tasting at all. The salsas and the agua fresca were excellent as well. I liked it so much, we went back on our own... More

I've had fish tacos in Ensenada ( where this style originates) and it was much better here! The batter was so light and crisp and their salsas are really great. The place is super clean too!

LOVED the fish tacos made to order and enjoyed trying all of the sauces. We were fortunate to run into two guides from the Vallarta Eats Food Tours who were there in mid-afternoon having their own lunch! Thank you Vallarta Eats guides for guiding us in the sauces, providing a little background on this wonderful place and encouraging me to... More

There were 3 of us, we each had 2 tacos and a bottle of water. We tried the fish taco, the smoked marlin and the fried shrimp. They were all excellent, taco shells (soft shells) made fresh to order and then grilled, yummy. Be careful which sauces you add on, some of them are quite hot. All of this for... More

This is one of the many street stands that dot the city but this one is popular enough to cater to the tourists as well as the locals. There is a little area for sitting and they will bring the food to you. Tried a bunch of the tacos and they all were good, especially the fried fish. Everything was... More
