Outstanding!! The real deal!

We were recommended to this place by our expat Dive Master as the best street tacos in Puerto Vallarta. We couldn't agree more! Locals and "gringos" alike were enjoying the deceivingly simple but sumptuous fare. A definite new favorite!!!

We went on a hunt to find the best tacos in PV and literally they are ALL on Calle Honduras. Sadly we started at the other end and worked our way back down to El Carboncito. We've done the legwork - so you DON'T HAVE TO! Skip the walk and go straight to this awesome little taco joint, where no... More

Came here after asking where we could get the best al pastor. This food was the bomb! 22 tacos and 4 beers for $330 pesos-- couldn't beat that! The don't have a menu, just a poster on the wall and don't speak English. These are the types of restaurants we wanted to visit more of in PV!

This may not be the best al pastor in town, but it is the best in that area. The place is always busy and the service is pretty good. I think my wife and I had a total of 8 tacos and a couple drinks and it couldn't have been more than 150 pesos, which is fair. My only critique... More

Yum yum! Inexpensive, delicious al pastor street food, open super late. They give you three salsas with every order, fire roasted, tomato and creamy avo verde? The verde is the best!

El Carboncito is a great place to get some authentic Mexican street food, the Al Pastor is very good... especially in my favorite form of gringa quesadillas (pastor pork, Oaxaca cheese, onions and cilantro)! Yummy... heaven on a tortilla! They are only open later in the evening... that is when most of their customers are out... it is HOT prior... More

The best street tacos in PV! They are open until 3am so it's a great place to stop after a night on the town.

My husband and I had heard great things about this taco stand, and we found them 4 years ago. They are a cross between a street stand and a restaurant. They are located near theBuenaventura/Villa Premiere hotels in El centro. The Pemex gas station is on the corner, and head west on Honduras street, they are on the right hand... More
