We were drawn in from the malecon by the promise of cold beer, but once we sat down we couldn't seem to catch the eye of any of the servers. After we finally got our drinks, we were once again abandoned (no lime, no menu). We had to flag someone down to pay the bill (which didn't match the promised... More

Fun place to people watch, and they have chips and salsa like most of the beach bars. I would give it a try, can't go wrong with a beer, chips, salsa on the beach.

We stopped in for a snack and were all pleasantly surprised! Good drinks, great tacos, and amazing salsa!

Ever watch the poppy episode on Seinfeld? Well my wife watched that same thing happen at burros. She was in the bathroom washing up when cook came out of the toilet stall and passed the sinks and went right back to work. We didn't eat there that day "luckily" but we have in the past. I agree the place is... More

Got lured in by the guy standing out front, all the bars have them, calling you in, welcoming you home, we bought it. Really nice place to sit out on the beach, in the evening, lots of vendors, but they don't bother you if you don't want anything. Had giant margaritas and sat for a few hours, even had the... More

Their drink special (three beers for 60 pesos) is good, the location right on top of the beach is nice. You have to fend off the hundreds of vendors, as everywhere, and that's not their fault. Although its kind of odd that even food vendors come in and peddle their kebabs. Live and let live I guess... Had Mahi Mahi,... More

The restaurant is in the romantic zone of Puerto Vallarta. It has a great location right on the beach. We had dinner there last night. When we were there, there was a stream of sales people walking by and promoting various things. It was really annoying. We ordered one Mexican plate, one beef Fajitas and one shrimp Burritos. The shrimp... More

I have been going to the Burro Bar for many years. I brought my husband and friends with me because I had such a good experience In the past. The food was mediocre but my husband's catch of the day was a disaster. He ordered the deep fried red snapper. I came so over cooked the fish was completely dry.... More

We arrived just at the end of this beach bars early happy hour, so many tables were full. By the time we left, so had many of the drink bargain seekers. Service was leisurely. We had cerviche (good) and one of their burrito features (just okay). Setting is the star here, but with so many beach bars, you could make... More

It's a beach bar, nothing more but we're there for the beach not gourmet food. Find Carlos the waiter, he's become a friend over the past visits. He's honest and no hustle. My wife has eaten the fresh oysters many times without a incident.
