The environment totally works. It's relaxing, spacious. The food is the best I've had in Puerto Vallarta. i'm going back this week. I had the lamb and it was so tender. It's hard to find lamb on the menu in Puerto Vallarta. The owner is a baker, makes her own yogurt, her own butter, and yummy desserts. The price is... More

We just celebrated joint birthdays with our friends at Mediterranean Cafe & Bakery located in the former location of La Luna on Carranza in Old Town. If you like authentic greek food and/or italian food, you will love Mediterranean Cafe. Patty and her staff do a great job. As a professional pastry chef by training and as a greek american... More

This place is a find if you love Greek food. Just walk 6 blocks up from Olas Altas & the Park. Went yesterday for the first time and the three of us loved it. I just wanted a Greek salad but once I looked at the menu I added a Chicken Souvlaki (185 pesos +/- US $ 15). It was... More

Loved the ambiance at Pattys latest incarnation of the Mediterrean Restaurant. We came late on a Monday night and dined alone, although Patty said it had been busy earlier. The courtyard setting is large and charming, and we look forward to returning when it's busy. The triple dip appetizer was right up my alley, and reminded me of many restaurants... More

We loved this place. You could taste and see that the food here was prepared with skill and pride. We had Greek salads to start, done with a lovely oil/vinegar dressing. Most of us did the souvlaki for a main dish. It was soooooo good. The owner came over and chatted for awhile which was lovely. Our dinner drinks were... More

We went this Wednesday and liked the food so much we went back again on Friday. My favorite so far is Beef Slovakia. Its so good and healthy. My wife and I both had the Napoleon for dessert last night. It was so good I soon forgot what I had for dinner. We walked home happy and full. I want... More

Patty is back in Old Town and it is so great to have her. Dinner 2 nights ago was delicious and the Courtyard setting is charming. My favorite standard has always been the Greek meatballs and salad but I sampled a few other things and may have to start mixing it up more and of course her desserts as a... More

Apologies to the many local fans of this restaurant which has recently reopened in a new location, however we honestly felt that all things considered, the prices should have been somewhat lower. The "Triple Dip" appetizer consisted of rather small portions of Tsatziki, Hummus and Skordialia and skimpy bits of arabic bread. All three dishes were tasty but the quantities... More

Just shared a joint anniversary at Mediterranean Cafe with great friends. We loved the food, service and atmosphere. Highly recommended! It's located in the former La Luna restaurant space on Carranza 466 - just about two blocks east (toward the mountains) of Insurgentes. It just opened; you will not be disappointed. We live here year-round and fell in love with... More
