This is the second year in a row that we have visited Puerto Vallarta. We had a great meal last year at Mama Rosa's so we thought we'd try it again. It was just as great this year. We sat in the open air porch like dinning room and watched the sun go down and the food was just as... More

In 2013 we found Mama Rosa's up a narrow street with lovely views. Wonderful food - great service - we returned again last week on our annual visit! Don't miss this hidden gem. It is not noisy or crowded and the service is excellent. Great wine list too. Mama Rosa's just opened another location near the boardwalk in PV....have not... More

My wife and I visited Mama Rosa on Basillo Badillo for dinner while on our yearly vacation to PV this year. The service was excellent as well as the food. Had a very nice table outside.

Service and food was excellent, view over the tops of the buildings for sunset, and not noisy like the Malecon

Three of us had an early dinner in late February at Mama Rosa on Leona Vicario in Centro following the Art Walk. The restaurant is just a few steps up from several of the Art Walk galleries. We had heard good things about Mama Rosa, but typically dine at restaurants nearer Los Muertos beach. We didn’t have a reservation, but... More

We read the reviews in trip advisor on Mama Rosa's in Puerto Vallarta and all the great comments were true. The food is excellent, the staff are very friendly, the outside seating is where you wnat to be and the restaurant is easy to find only being a short walk off the Malacon.

We were near the MR during the art walk. I had read the reviews on TA and wanted to check it out. I was concerned because I'm not trusting of buffets (their breakfast, I believe). So we walked up the steps and looked in. Great views. Nicely decorated room. Red tablecloths. Great service. And the food! Loved it. Had the... More

Love this place. Went there for dinner and was really surprised how wonderful it is. Presentation, food and service were all wonderful. Food is very sophisticated and great tasting. If you done here, you won't be disappointed.

Open air dining, creative and delicious Mexican menu served by a congenial and hardworking wait staff overlooking the rooftops in the art area of PV. It was a lovely dinner. Try the white chocolate avocado mousse and the crab stuffed tomato. The stuffed pepper with the vanilla sour cream pomegranate sauce was amazing.
