A great new find in the Romatica Zone of Puerto Vallarta!

We ended up at The Swedes by accident when the place we were going was closed. We met someone on the street who highly recommended The Swedes so we went for it and were pleasantly surprised. The food and service were amazing!

This place is well located in the Zona romantica and the seating comfortable. The salmon entree was nice but the vegetarian risotto came after a 50 minute wait and was bland at best. Prices are on the high side so was expecting more from this place. There are so many good restaurants in PV and will not come back. Oh,... More

Everything was really good. I had the summer rolls and the pesto pasta. Wine selection is great and prices are really decent for the experience we got!!!

We were there with a group of 12. They did their best to get us in, without reservations in about 15 minutes. We did have to split up but it turned out fine, just a table away. Our group and two burgers, and two entrees. I can say the chicken pesto dish was amazing and highly recommend if you like... More

A charming spot in the charming Zona Romantica that was so good we visited twice during our week long stay. The appetizers were great - Shrimp Skagen was our favorite - as were the entrees. We tried the pesto pasta, a couple of chicken dishes and a rack of lamb special. All were delicious! Our server was friendly and helpful... More

My husband and I like coming here for a romantic dinner date night when we travel to PV. The high location is lovely with nice breezes and views down the street. Ordered the catch of the day (mahi-mahi) with risotto. It was probably the best prepared fish I have ever eaten. The gespacho was creamy and delicious. Creative menu and... More

My wife and I dropped by hoping for the Swedish meatballs we saw on the menu when walking past earlier, but they are only on Mondays, unfortunately.. So we just had salads with beer. The toast skagen starter is small, but flavourful, and my wife was happy with her beetroot salad. I was a bit annoyed to have to interrupt... More

We came here for New Year's Eve of 2016. Although it was very busy, they gave us a table at the balcony. We had a pre-fixe menu consisting of 4 courses for around $80. We were so full by third course that we never managed to get to the dessert. They welcomed us with champagne and we ordered very fine... More

If you're getting tired of the usual Mexican cuisine in PV, stop by the Swedes for a fantastic dinner with equally good service. A large group (7) of us were seated on the upstairs patio in a very lively bar area. Music videos projected on to the walls, large, fun art all around. Our server offered to split the checks...
