Seriously, no way don't go to this restaurant. First, the food was just bad. We wanted authentic Mexican food and it just disappointed. Oddly, of the 5 or 6 tables occupied, the restaurant end seated everyone in tables right next to each other. So while virtually empty there was no personal space. Un-necessary and un-comfortable. When we called for a... More

After reading other reviews we hesitated and then decided to give it a try due a friend's recommendation. To let you know I do a lot of find dining as I live in the San Francisco Bay Area know for their exquisite restaurants. To start we were greeted by a very gracious host who promptly seated us upstairs at a... More

For the first couple of seasons they were open this was our very favorite restaurant although if I were to be totally honest I enjoyed the overall experience more than I did the food. Part of that is that is because I have literally made a thousand or more table side caesar salads over my younger years in hospitality and... More

This restaurant is across from the old Elizabeth Taylor theater and just up from the hanging bridge. All the action is upstairs. Beautifully furnished. Often they have live musical entertainment. They make Caesar salad at the table. It is delicious as is everything I've tried at the restaurant. The staff is warm and friendly. Very hospitable. Consistently great service. This... More

My fiance walked in and there was nobody seated at all. The server came by and asked if we had reservations...we thought he was joking, as there was not one soul in the place. We said "no", and he said he could probably still accommodate us. He proceeded to take us upstairs, where it was packed and lively. From below,... More

This is our 4th time back over last couple years. It is a classy festive great place to dine. Jose is one of the most friendly restaurant owners we have met over the years. Your experience here will be memorable with the food, the attentive waiters, the ambiance of live music and all around service provided by Jose and Julia.... More

We ate here for the first time in a couple of years and were very disappointed with the quality of the food, the ambiance of the restaurant and the value for the cost. This restaurant used to have a more vibrant atmosphere with an ambiance that made it a must visit place to eat in PV. That has chnaged and... More

If you like excellent Caesar salad, you will love this place! Be sure to request a table upstairs. Salad is prepared at your table. Everything on the menu is very very good. We have been there several times and it is still our favorite restaurant. Restaurant upstairs is very small, reservations are highly recommended.

A little more upscale than most PV restaurants, though the prices were pretty standard. Interesting menu -- I had something called a chapaltepec tower made of portobello mushroom, eggplant, and other veggies pulled up. Excellent food, very nice service.

We were lucky to discover this restaurant about 5 years ago and we keep coming back. I always order the chili's nogados (I'm probably spelling it wrong but you'll figure it out). It's two large chili's filled with either beef, chicken or shrimp and mango and some other fruits and topped with an almond walnut cream sauce. I love this... More
