A mexican restaurant with autentic mexican food, the special is the mole sauce witch is made like in the past, an artesian mole that takes over a week to prepare, unique texture and a chocolate taste at the end. A very house warming atmosphere, and always a good service taken by the owners themself.

I eat here at least once every trip to Puerto Vallarta. The food is good and the portions are generous. The moles, as expected, are the star here; there are three of note: the mole poblano, dark and rich with smoky chiles and chocolate, the mole verde, herbaceous and spicy with tomatillos and chili serrano, and the mole pipian, light... the house specialty is mole sauce; they have three kinds and give you little tasting bowls before you order so that you can decide what you like. this was helpful, because i am not ordinarily a big fan of mole but had decided to try it here because the place has such a reputation for it. i settled on chicken... To start they let you try their 3 types of mole. This is very helpful to those who are not familiar with the different types of mole. They allow you to pick more than one type. Our server was very kind and the food was delicious. The prices were reasonable as well.

We walked by this little restaurant twice before deciding to try it on our third night in PV. The owner was so nice and welcoming. He sat the two of us by the doorway where we could people watch. We tried all of the moles! They were delicious and he even made a special order dish for me! We loved... More

We ate here for dinner on our Vallarta trip as it was highly recommended by many for mole. Ordered the grilled chicken plate with all three of the restaurants mole separately spread over top. Delicious! My girlfriend and I both enjoyed the traditional mole the best (the dark variety). They offer many other dishes that have mole incorporated and I'm... More

This restaurant was almost across the street from Posada de Roger where I stayed. It was fantastic! They serve 3 different types of moles, and all are excellent. I couldn't decide, so had my chiles rellenos with all 3. Delicious and not expensive. People watching in the front, or courtyard in the back. Good service.
