Hidden Gem -Now Trattoria Vallarta. Same people, great food

This just changed cuisines but the change is awesome. This may be the best kept secret in PV. You should not miss the restaurant. The family, Mama, Papa and 2 sons do all the cooking and hard work and the results are awesome. This is not a tourist stop and that makes it even better. If you can... read more

Went to have some of the Naraja specials, it is now Italian food, tastes are good. Defiantly prefer the old menus! Add some of your old dishes, there are already too many so so Italian restaurants in PV!

Hadn't eaten here in a couple of years. Always felt this restaurant was underrated due to it's location several blocks from the Malecon, yet the food seems excellent. They have switched to a Trattoria format and have surprisingly good Italian food for a restaurant that wasn't Italian before. They also have several meat and seafood choices. Had a great pizza,... Casa Naranjo is changing their concept to Trattoria Vallarta starting next Monday. Since starting operations in 2005, I'm thankful to have enjoyed so many quality dinners at Casa Naranjo while visiting Puerto Vallarta. We got to sample the ravioli and can't wait to see the new menu! Felicidades!

Nice little restaurant a bit away from the tourist crowd. We were able to just walk in and get a table. Not amazing ambiance but the food was some of the best we'd had in 2 weeks in the Bay of Banderas area. Attentive but not intrusive service.

This restaurant is in the Romantic Zone, a little removed from the tourist restaurants. The food is some of the best we'd found in PV, the service was excellent. They don't draw the crowds they should -- probably because of the location. But it is the perfect place for a special night out. It's a little more expensive, but worth... More

This is a clean, calm, comfortable place with good lighting and very nice food. I would definitely go back there.I loved the salads and the ravioli. Very clean and healthy food and nice atmosphere.

I had heard good things about this place but was disappointed with Casa Naranjo. For starters, it is kind of out of the way, off the beaten path downtown, and not really worth the trouble. The service was mediocre. It took them at least 20 minutes to bring our cocktails, and it was a Tuesday night and not busy. My... More

Our cab driver mentioned it on way in. We decided to give it a try. My husband had the pork chop. It was huge, tender, and delicious. My scallops were also very good. The staff was pleasant and efficient. As we left our only negative comments were on the lack of decor. There is nothing that stands out. No view.... More

If you enjoy a quite, relaxing dining experience give Casa Naranjo a try. The menu is not large but everything expertly prepared.
