We were told about cafe Roma from some people we met on a boat tour, we spent a few hours wandering around downtown PV, finally we spent the 20 pesos for a cab driver to find it for us. The beer was ice cold and the food was excellent, we almost gave up, but it was worth the journey...

The food is very good. The service is excellent. The beverages are good and at a good price. The owner "Senor Fox" is a super host and is usually on site and available for conversation. A really fun place to visit.

My wife and I ate there and as the other reviews stated, great people run it. Extremely friendly. It was the slow season and we were the only ones in the restaurant (like many we went to). Was able to use the phone, to call home to the US which was also nice. Will be back on the next visit...
