We had a great breakfast here and wish we had been able to return - Chiliquiles and Huevos Rancheros with fruit and a basket of Pan was more than we bargained for, but we ate it all! We come from Houston with great Mexican restaurants, but could not get enough of their food - and the coffee - fabulous! Thanks... More

The best Octopus I have ever eaten. Great Mexican food at a good price. Cool enviroment not far from the Beach or Malecon. The house margarita was very tasty. There was live music which really added to the overall experience. One of our favorites in PV.

We have been going here since 2004. It is our first night in PV dinner traditional. I have not had anything here that I did not like. Go for what ever you are in the mood for. Excellent Margaritas as well. I challenge you to spend more than $25 per person including couple of drinks.

I was there for a Friday night dinner. The food was OK and the service was adequate. From all of the great reviews I've read my expectation level was set for a great dining experience. I had a much ado about nothing dining experience. I ordered cheese enchiladas. The sauce for the enchilada seemed to be nothing more than the... More

Excellent authentic Mexican cuisine and great prices. I had enchiladas, ceviche, octopus and guacamole. Everything absolutely delicious.

Food was great, ambiance bustling and lively, and the wandering minstrel had a superb voice (not sure he's there every night). Well worth the trip into town!

I have dined at Cafe de Olla the first night of each visit for a number of years and generally eaten there again. They've always had fresh good food, great Sangria and attentive waiters. However over the past year or so, it seems to have lost its charm. The service is slow and not attentive. The food seems to have... More

The staff and food are Cafe de Olla are great. Service is quick, attentive and friendly without the "chincy" feeling of the over-the-top touristy restaurants. This is a true small town, small dining room restaurant with a menu that will take you all night to decide. The drinks are great as well. The owner is almost always on sight and... More
