Every time we go to Puerto Vallarta, we always eat at Café de Olla. The food is good solid Mexican food. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. It's your typical rustico Mexican ambiance. Their Tortilla Soup is excellent. Never had a bad meal there. The beer is cold and the margaritas delicious. Great place to relax and have a... More

This place is fun, friendly staff, good food at a good price, and an overall gem. Try to make a stop here every time I visit PV. Don't go expecting gourmet. Expect to wait in line, but they will usually serve drinks while you wait. Come ready to laugh and relax with a great group of people.

Café de Olla is one of our favourites! Traditional Mexican food in a rustic setting in the downtown Romantic Zone. They also offer tasty Mexican desserts like pan de elote and a dense cheesecake. There is an area at the back where kids can play with some toys too, which helps a lot. Great place in Vallarta!

The food is pretty good...average tex-mex type. It's what NOTB tourists think of 'Mexican food', and it's usually pretty good. But the restaurant is cramped and hot, and if you want to eat anytime after about 6 pm, the line is halfway down the block.

Every trip we make to Puerto Vallarta we make it to Cafe de Olla. The staff is friendly, the food amazingly good and a fun crowd as well. Try the Tortilla Soup, Shrimp in Garlic Sauce (simple yet complex flavors), and excellent mexican food. We will be there soon :).

We passed by this place many times before eating brunch there towards the end of our trip. Food was so good and inexpensive that I wished I had tried earlier. The restaurant is much bigger and nicer than it looks from the outside where you see a guy grilling baked potatoes and ribs. Service was great and we went again... More

We have come here at least once every trip. The food is always very good, our group likes the ribs the best with the fajitas a close second. The twice baked potatoes are the best around.

The food was excellent and our waitres was very nice. We also had this trio-group that was signing for all, that made it even better. My brother in law (don't speak spanish) was trying to sing the bamba, we were all laughing, dancing and having a lot of fun. My strawberry margarita was delicious!!!
