the mother of all burritos

Walk across the overpass from the airport and have the burritos. Just do it. You won't regret it. Do it when you arrive and then again when you leave. The food here is so good, the staff are friendly and its an experience. It doesn't look like much, but wow...

We tried the location next to Pepe's Tacos. WOW..clean, great friendly service and excellent inexpensive prices. They only serve seafood burritos. Shrimp, crab, marlin, octopus, sea bass or combinations. I ordered the shrimp and crab. Giant burrito, filled with grilled shrimp, crab, a little lettuce and onion. This burrito was jammed packed with seafood and was delicious. My husband who isn't a big fan of seafood... More

After getting out of the airport we headed across the pedestrian walkway and into Taco de Marlin. All they serve is burritos here. Beers are next door if you want one with your meal. My wife and I both had the shrimp burritos. They first serve you some sort of potato salad and different salsas. The burritos came to the... More

OMG! A smoked marlin and shrimp or sea bass and shrimp (marlin is a heavy tasting fish) wrapped in bacon burrito that is easily shared by two for 95 pesos. Nothing fancy, but a lovely cucumber, carrot appetizer included, muchos salsa! and just a grilled delight!!!

My husband and I dropped by on our way to the airport. Service is friendly and efficient. The burrito takes some time because a lot care goes into the grilling. Do get the octopus and grilled shrimp combo. Yummy. Next time, I may ask them to omit the lettuce, as I thought it didn't really add much to it. We... More

For those who don't walk over before or after the Puerto Vallarta airport, you are missing a true Mexican gem. There is nothing to write home about when it comes to decor or atmosphere - instead just enjoy the absolute best smoked marlin burritos anywhere. We have visited this place probably a half dozen times over the years, and just... More

Here's the ritual: We arrive PV mid day and as soon as we exit the terminal we hang a left and go over the walkway bridge and at the bottom is Tacon de Marlin a local street food hangout. My suggestion..go straight for the marlin burrito, it's stuffed with fresh seared marlin and served with three different topping sauces. If... More

One thing everyone should know about when arriving in Puerto Vallarta airport (PVR) is, after baggage and customs, walk PAST the hoard of taxi drivers, out the doors and walk the footbridge up and over the highway. At the bottom there is the legendary "Tacon de Marlin" -the tastiest grilled seafood taco. Really a burrito (in gringo parlance), it is... More

I love the food here. There is a reason people keep this place busy - and keep returning. It's simply prepared, always fresh and served up at a great price point. Had the shrimp and crab mix for a change - yummy! Great to hang here rather than in the airport :) waiting for the plane :)
