Best burrito

Today I ate the best burrito I've ever had. We pulled into the gate and the pilot ran out to get the order he had placed in the air for the dispatcher to call in. Everyone on board placed an order. He arrived just as the passengers were about to board, so I had to wait to eat mine until... read more

Meal: The specialty is fresh shrimp and/or marlin served in a burro (large burrito). I've been here twice and tried each burro and found the shrimp more to my liking. Right on par with the best shrimp burrito in PV. Atmosphere: Imagine a taco stand with a roof. Very casual and fun. Service: Awesome and attentive. They don't sell beer,... More

Let your first or (and?) last meal in Puerto Vallarta be at Tacon de Marlin. The menu is simple and cheap, burritos made with smoked marlin, shrimp, crab, and several other mariscos in varying combinations served at table or taken to go. The place couldn't be easier to get to, walk out the main arrival door, hang a left (east)... More

I have been there a couple of times now. It is a must for my son to go there when he is leaving to go home. We went yesterday and I had the Marlin/Shrimp and he had the octopus, shrimp, Marlin. Still great flavors at a great price. We had stopped at Wal-Mart before we got there and bought a... More

Wow! This place is across from the airport (by yellow taxis). It is not fancy, it is open air and a great place to eat before getting on the airplane. The smoked marlin burrito is the best ever. Ok, I have never had one before but now the bar is set so high I don't want to!! The burrito is... More

Went on the suggestion of local friend. Outstanding simple menu with the freshest fish (except for the ceviche we had on the boat with fish we had just caught) and great service. Don't get me wrong, it is a dive but a lot of fun. and very reasonable.

I have religiously relied on reviews from TripAdvisors and had great results. Tacon de Marlin was a miss. It's not bad, but it's not all that either. For my last meal in PV, I would have preferred to something more than just average.

It was the BEST meal that we had in Puerto Vallarta, so good that we decided to go back on our last day before flying home!!! We found this place by accident. We wanted to get a cheaper cab outside the airport and per tripadvisor's tips, we were to cross the pedestrian bridge from the airport and get a cab... More

We went Here recently and the food was sooooooooo......good. All I can say is when you arrive in PVR and if your hungry and some time before hotel/resort check in. Then this is the place to go for a great inexpensive meal. Luckily, our friends who live in PVR took us to this place just to get a quick snack... More

Do not leave PVR without trying the tacons from this place! Cross the street using the pedestrian bridge and you'll run right into it. You can eat in the restaurant or take the food to go; the octopus tacons are delicious beyond measure and so are the ones with mix of crab meat and seafood. Really good eats!
