Great Mexican dining experience!

The food was great, very affordable, super view, fun and authentic! We had the lobster, shrimp, steak, red snapper, and drinks and it was all under $100 US dollars. Mariachi band was good and the view was very nice!! This was recommended to us by several locals!

Nice restaurant, on a upper floor with nice views of the mountains, nice tablecloth setting, more upscale than I expected. A lot of tourists so the word has gotten around that this is a nice restaurant with superb seafood! I had broiled whole red snapper with a garlic topping. It was absolutely delicious. My friend had the baby shrimp casserole... More

We ate here four times during our visit. Each time, the shellfish was superb, and the guacamole unsurpassed. When the service warranted it, I left a 15% tip; when it did not, I left 10%. No questions asked, no problems.

We were lucky enough to go here with three local guys one of which works in the restaurant business. A fantastic blend of Seafood and Mexican Local we've found in the past several years. They bring the seafood selections to your table along with some delicious salsa and chip. The Jumbo Shrimp in Garlic Sauce was so good it was... More

Okay, we had to wave down a server to get our check. When it arrived it said 1020 pesos or $60 USD. Accepts credit but "money is best". Close to best exchange rate so I pay $60 USD with a 20% tip. As we walk out the door I get " we didn't figure the bill correctly and you owe... More

My wife and I revisited the Happy Lobster with friends. We had not been there for 2 years. Wow, it was one of the best meals we had in PV after a month of eating out. Now I am not a fish lover although my wife and friends are. That said, if you like shrimp, lobster, fish and other types... More

We go to La Langosta Feliz every time we visit PVR. It is the best seafood we've had in the city. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is nice. Definitely get the Spanish coffee for dessert. The lights dim and the liquors are set on fire for a nice little show at your table. And then there's delicious coffee!

We were in a group of 4 and both couples ordered the platter for two. The food and the service were fantastic and we all left stuffed. My husband and I visited a few years ago and were highly impressed and I can say that the food has gotten even better. I also recommend the Bananas Foster and the Mexican... More

Wow- This place is a amazing. Food was awesome. We had a party of 12 which gave us opportunity to try other peoples food. My 8 year old son had 2 plates of Sea Bass. Shrimp, Steak, Lobster, Sea Bass was all very good. Will go there next time, mostly likely more than 1 time.

Had the combination platter with my wife and we were not disappointed. It comes on a cookie sheet and you are stuffed by the time you are done ( if you can finish) our friends had the shrimp platter and it looked fantastic (huge shrimp). A bit more expensive there but if you love seafood this is the place. The... More
