Nice marisqueria

Nice seafood, very local. Vallarta is a top food destination. It was good but nothing to die for. prices are so so but surely you can overpay on turistraps a tenth of this quality and service.

Everything was delicious! Mariachis were great (you had to tip a little over $6 per song). It was expensive but fun and authentic.

Best recommendation from a local person, if you want to really have the experience of Mexican seafood this is the place. Restaurant location is not the great, but don't get it wrong, food is outstanding. Service is great and the can adapt to your needs of cooking. Try the lobster, is their specialty. Awesome!

This place was recommended by a local friend. It's indeed a traditional seafood restaurant. Food is average. The menu is ample and seems tasty. The downside is that service is bad, very bad. After asking several times for a plate, waiters will continue forgetting about the order. We were a party of 10, a couple never received their main course,... More

Another seafood restaurant up towards the hillside in the suburbs recommended by the taxi driver . Nearly all locals very good service friendly staff with a Mariachi band playing for a large table nearby. Excellent cerviche P Vallarta style and prawns in a spicy sauce unlimited salsa with corn chips. With x2 glasses of chilled white wine it came to US$26.... More

My wife and I decided to go here after reading these reviews given that the staff at the hotel we were staying at suggested it. We ordered the combination platter and I'd say it was above average as far as taste goes. We ended up substituting the sea bass fillet for a whole red snapper, we also chose to upsize... More

We had asked a number of taxi drivers (making conversation!) and they all seemed to recommend the Happy Lobster. On one of our last nights in Puerto Vallarta we tried it and we were so disappointed that we hadn't gone sooner!! The dinner was wonderful! We had shrimp cocktails -- delicious. The Sea Bass was cooked in a garlic butter... More

The menu price for the seafood combination platter said 758 pesos...when the food came it was 2 lobsters and about 8 shrimp. The food was ok, but then the bill came and the price of the platter was now 1200 pesos. We paid and did not argue, but this place was overpriced for what you get.

We found this spot by looking up "lobster restaurants in PV" on Google. We were staying at an all-inclusive and just wanted a night out with great seafood...wow...did we find it! Don't let the neighborhood scare you! Everyone is very nice and accommodating and when you realize you're the only person there that's not from Mexico, you realize just what... More

Had a nice time at lunch, not bad! The waiters were very nice, the food was pretty good, try the ceviche peruana, Peruvian style ceviche. It was awesome. The view here is neat too, as we had been at a resort all week and this was definitely a change from the resort experience.
