I like to eat my veggies! But, I'm not obsessed about it as a religious conviction like some people. Having said that, I think this little place will appeal to even the non-veg heads in your crowd. I've taken my carnivores here and they generally have been able to find some things that appeal to them on the fairly extensive... More

This cheerful place offers a great selection of vegan and vegetarian food, buffet style! We had several homemade salads with the greatest sunflower wheat bread, kabobs, pumpkin seed 'meatball' soup, curried veg and chilled oat milk. Friendly and relaxed place for a healthy vegetarian meal.

On our first full day in PV we searched for and found this small restaurant near the main church in old town. We arrived just as they were putting out the freshly prepared lunch buffet. There was a nice selection and the food was very good. When we first arrived there was only one other table of diners. Within 20... More

I think it was my third day in Puerto Vallarta that I discovered this place and after that I ate here twice almost every day. Fuel up in the morning, out for a day of fun and then back for dinner in the evening. It's been almost a decade and I still think about this place. I've talked to other... More

Loved the albondigas soup made of sunflower seeds . All the salads were delicious , especially loved the cauliflower " ceviche " great hot & cold buffets . I do wish there was an alternative to the soy kabobs as I avoid soy and would enjoy a " meaty " feel . Hint hint !

Well recommended by the locals, it was very good vegetarian mexican food although we would have liked more variety. The food was good though, quite yummy and it was not hard to find as it is right beside the church.

I'm not even a vegetarian, but Planeta Vegetariano is one of my absolute favorite restaurants anywhere in the world (and I've been to over 60 countries). It's not fine dining -- just plain, simple, healthy food made with wholesome ingredients, delicate spices, and lots of love. It's all buffet, but the choices are different every day. Nearly all the options... More

Once we went we never went anywhere else for breakfast for the rest of the trip. Everything is absolutely delicious, if you're a vegetarian (which we are) or not. Outstanding and SO cheap.

Love this place. Great bang for your pesos. Different items each day, the food is always great. Wonderful cold salads, and choices of hot items. The drinks are delicious, all fresh. If you are vegetarian or not, you should check this little place out. Small, quaint and casual.
