The location on the beach and next to the pier makes the setting hard to beat. Seating is available inside or on the beach. This time I ate on the beach. The service is attentive and food is good. Fish with a chili/lime sauce, rice, vegetables. Very good and worth a return visit.

We have been hanging out at Cuates for years. Great place and a great location. The food and service are very good. I'm looking forward to returning in Jan/Feb 2015. Being located right by the new Los Muertos pier is an added bonus.

Our first real trip to PV, and we wandered into cyc. We were made to feel welcome before we were even seated. Our drinks and meal were delivered promptly. The batter fried shrimp was the best that I have ever had the pleasure of. Great location, wonderful staff, and superb view! My bride and I ate there at least one... More

We were handed a leaflet about the Chamacos JazzFest 2014 as we were walking to Los Muertos Pier to find the water taxis. We returned the next evening, April 30,2014 to join in the celebration of the International day of Jazz and Children's Day. WOW!!!, what a delightful/jamming evening of jazz while we watched the sunset over Playa de los... More

We stayed near this restaurant and heard their good live music every night as we walked by. Had breakfast here twice and found it very pleasant. Nice atmosphere, great location on the beach, friendly service. Good coffee! We had a lovely fruit plate for breakfast, fresh and delicious.

For my taste you can't get better than King David Bailey and his Reggae Band....With an amazing drummer! !! At sunset for cocktails. ..go for the music and atmosphere.

Last night I enjoyed another magical night at Cuates y Cuetes. A great jazz trio - the Douglas Robinson trio played while I had my usual meal there : the Mexican plate, which is tasty and authentic. I watched the sun set over Playa de los Muertos while I enjoyed the blissful music inside. Following the trio, my favorite band,... More

Truthfully I have only eated at CC's several times, but my friend and I go there because there has been consistently top notch musicians performing. They sponsor a jazz festival on the beach which also occurs with the Spring Equinox, March 21, this year. There's no cover, amazingly, and it's buzzing at Happy Hour, but many nights there is a... My wife and I always start our yearly vacation to PV by coming for shrimp quesadillas and ice cold Pacifico under an umbrella on the beach. Ahh, life is good on the beach in PV. Jeff S.

This beach bar is our favorite hang out for happy hour. We have been coming here for years and years. We know the good folks that work here and they all know what we drink and how we like it. So we order "same ol', same ol'" and know exactly what we are getting. We always bring our friends coming... More
