What makes PV special from a dinning point of view are all the tiny street side restaurants like Rio Grande. The Rio Grande looks like nothing from the street, but we took a chance and found they had excellent food and service at a reasonable price. They had a sign that said in business for 28 years, which is amazing... More

First 5days we try different restaurants in PV and once we find Rio grande we eat there every night. Fish is dayli catch and everything else is always fresh. Costumer service first class. Thank you Alexaandro 1 and Alexaandro2 for great time and great food!

My husband and I vacationed in Puerto Vallarta recently. While walking down to the Malecon one day, we came upon this restaurant about 3 blocks from our hotel and spoke with the owner, who was outside tending to some business. We looked at their menu and found a large variety of seafood offerings. Upon entering at the front, it doesn’t... More

Great traditional Mexican restaurant with a lot of local guests, in a non touristic part of the city. Fish was very fresh, ceviche with shrimps was delicious. Very kind service and friendly staff. We would definitely go back here

Ate here last December 2013 & had the red snapper cooked over wood burning grill that was so fabulous we went back to have it again. We were about to order it again when our waiter Alejandro told us they had a special sea bass (that's code for the Freshest seafood). It was still prepared the same way over wood... More

There was a good amount of fish and fixings and the service was top class. Wife had the garlic shrimp, and it... More

My husband and I went with friends who live in PV and had a great time, we shared the platter which had many types of seafood and they gave us an extra large red snapper for 4 people. Even my husband who is not really a fan of fish loved it! The service was excellent and they did not try... More
