Surf's Up is a little restaurant on the beach, about 1/2 mile walk from Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay. You can sit inside, but even better, under an umbrella with your feet in the sand. I went 3 times for lunch during our last visit in April. The food is AMAZING, cocktails delicious, and it's a beautiful location. Don't be in... More

A wonderful gem in Mazatlan. It is within walking distance(beach) from Pueblo Bonita Emerald Bay and well worth the walk. The food was great and the service even better. We liked it so much that we actually went twice. They close at the end of May and reopen in October when the season starts up again. If you are looking... More

Tough to get to (walking) but well worth the effort. Fantastic views of the ocean, and the food is spectacular. Unlike any restaurant I've been too…has the feel of a beach shack, but the taste of a top notch gourmet restaurant. A must in Mazatlan!

the casual atmosphere is welcoming and one can dig their feet in the sand. The owners also have a special bed and breakfast hotel, adjacent. We have been there a few times. Unfortunately our last breakfast was not inviting. THE FRENCH toast was very soggy. The egg basket made with mashed potatoes was bland and dry. Eggs har We did... More

We walked down the beach from our resort for a late breakfast. I had the chocolate chip banana pancakes they were good and the view was great.

It's a little ways to drive, but once you get there you'll love the view. We ate breakfast with our feet in the sand! However, that was the highlight. We had two omelets, both came with a tiny cup of fruit (honeydew melon, pineapple and granny smith apple slices). One omelet had apple, bacon and vegetables, and would have been... More

The portions are large, the food is delicious. It's hard to decide what to order since everything on the menu is so appealing. Loved the location and the sand under my feet and feeling like we were in no hurry to eat and leave.

Not so hidden if you know were to go and well worth the find. The Trip Advisor map here shows this great place south of Mazatlan but it's actually at Emerald Bay north of Mazatlan. You can take a Cerritos bus as far as the Riu Hotel then take a taxi or pulmonia from there but seems many of the... More

Once again back in Mazatlan, and once again our good friends take us for breakfast at Surf's Up. Don't want to be called a homey just cuz the owner is Canadian, but OMG the meals are terrific. They are changed up every few days but the ones we had today (Bumbles, El Sol & a Belgian waffle one that I... More

This is one review I'm exited to submit. This seaside cafe is a gem. Incredible food, huge portions, great people, great smiles, reasonable prices and a perfect place to enjoy a meal. Located near the PBEB they are open for breakfast and lunch Wednesday thru Sunday. Our first visit was for lunch (I had the most fantastic burger EVER-hard to... More
