OMG!

I honestly think this food is in ..if not the top.3 the best I have ever eaten! Everything is home made. Her soups are exquisite! The Hamburger #1 ( bourbon, blue cheese, apples and caramelized apples is out of this world! For sure, this is a very special place. The staff is amazing, always

It's too bad this gem of a place is so far from hotels. We stayed at El Cid Marina and it was a $20 ride round trip. The driver just waited for us because it was too far to go grab another customer and be back for us in an hour. We were the only people there the entire hour.... More

So i came to surf up in a friends trip to Mazatlan when we were about to leave and had breakfast there, we weren't disappointed at all, i had the pumpkin pancakes which were delicious (and gluten free) the menu had a lot diverse options from french toast, eggs and pancakes, and also veggie wraps, the place is owned by... Wonderful staff, fun, relaxed atmosphere. In from the beach or car is ok. Food is outstanding. I would highly recommend any soup they make as they are all perfect. Everything is fresh and really good, the staff is wonderful as well as Leanne the owner.

This Surfs Up restaurant is off the beaten trail, 2 kilometres of gravel road... But so worth it. Owned by a Canadian , this has such a lovely north of the border taste. I personally had the French toast dish called "Still Dreaming" and it is right. Because after you have finished and left the building.. You are still dreaming... More

There's a reason everyone knows Leanne and Tyler and their staff. Because no matter who you are or where you're from, they treat you like it's your place. I'm trying to remember a time I've seen Leanne without a huge smile on her face. It's obvious she loves what she does. OH! And the food is excellent. Handmade burgers. Homemade... More

We have been coming to Mazatlan for more than ten years but this was our first visit to Surf's Up Cafe. The ambiance is just what you would expect for a Surf's Up Cafe. We sat at a table with sand under our feet, right beside Emerald Bay. You could tell that there was a definite camaraderie among the guests.... More

The restaurant is located in a picturesque setting. It is a little out of the way but the beach is simply gorgeous. We went for the live music. They have a reggae band on Saturdays. The band was entertaining. :) As far as the restaurant...we entered from the beach, so the waitress did not see us. I had to go... More

I made it to Surfs Up on our recent trip and we would return. We were there for Reggae Saturday. The place was full and service was a little slow but the beers were cold when they arrived. The mac and cheese was not our favorite but the curry bowl was very good as was the empenada. Price was nice... More
