Go here or you are missing out!

We were in Mazatlan and heard about this great little place. Even though we were at an all-inclusive resort, we decided to take a ride. It is located on the beach just north a 1/2 mile of the emerald bay Pueblo Bonito. If you happen to be staying there...you are very lucky. Go check it out. If you... read more

Funny thing. Yesterday I received an eMail from TripAdvisor telling me it has been a year since my review of this restaurant. Later that day our friends invite us for breakfast up there again, for today. The restaurant provides breakfast and lunch, and is run by a fellow Canadian. Not that it matters as good food is good food. The... More

Next door to the El Sol La Vida B&B, Leann, the chef and daughter of the B&B owners. This is a fun spot with excellent food. Leann's attention to detail, and delivery of fantastic tasting food was a nice surprise. On the outside it looks like your typical seaside cafe, but once you meet the staff and taste the food,... What an awesome spot on the beach! And, when I say 'on the beach', that's exactly where you are. Visited on a Saturday afternoon where from 1 to 4, they have a live reggae band playing and you can dance in the sand...shuffle your feet and have a really good time. Quite a few Jamaican tapas dishes to choose from.... More

Accidentally found this restaurant and have been back twice. Best burger I have ever tasted in my 60 years. It is marinated in bourbon and has small apple chunks in it. It is a thick patty with blue cheese on it and carmelized onions. Other food is outstanding also. You sit right next to the ocean with no vendors on... More

We went with a group of people for the Saturday Reggae which is held from 1-4p.m. Our toes were in the sand the music was great, sun was shining and the ocean was sparkling. Service was great! We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon. To our surprise the band was the same one we had heard at the Fish. This is off... More

The service and management here is delicious! The menu offered some delicious mainstays (burger, etc) but also some terrific inventive items too (morning glory waffle, Cubano sandwich)! A bit of a drive, but highly recommended to take the drive on a nice day and enjoy a delicious meal/beach view in the sunshine! Right on the beach, past the Riu and... More

You need to visit this place! Just go! Leanne is awesome and her food is to die for. We can't wait to return again next year and stay at her Bed and Breakfast right next door. This is the hidden jewel of Mazatlan you've been searching for.

So worth the trip out there. We went for breakfast and sat at the table closet to the beach with the breathtaking view. If you want to eat delicious food on the beach, this is the place. My meal had a potato pancake bottom, with bacon, and an egg on top. I'm not a breakfast person, but it was wonderful.... More

We had a really fantastic late lunch at Surf's Up Cafe. This place is more then a Cafe, it has a rich menu of food and really excellent service that is laid back but still attentive, anything but pretentious. Something about the place gives you a really easy-going relaxed feeling. It has a cozy vibe and we felt at home... More
