Best breakfast on the beach

We were down in April of 2013 and ate there at least 5 times. The owner and staff are very friendly. Great coffee along with a fantastic view of the islands and did I mention very inexpensive. Wonderful experience can't wait to return.

You can't beat the price for breakfast on the beach. Great owners. We eat breakfast 4 times on our last visit of a week. The only days we missed is when we were out fishing. We will for surely be back on our next visit.

Awesome beachfront location. Friendly (English speaking) staff. Very reasonable prices. We had the coconut shrimp one of our first nights in Maz. Had to get back there. We went for the shrimp for lunch on our last day ! Im craving it right now!

Since we are staying at the El CID Marina, we decided to walk down to Loco Locos for breakfast. We were greeted by the owner and given a table with an ocean view. We both had the two eggs, juice or fruit, bacon or ham, potatoes, beans, tea, and bread. That was more than enough for me, but my husband... More

During our 14 day stay in Maz, we ate three times at Locos Locos, which is located along the beach in the far north end of the Golden Zone. The first time, we had one of their $100 peso shrimp dinners (coconut shrimp) and a mixed Mexican platter for $110. Both were very well executed and as I stated above,... More

Good beach front casual as an alternative to Chilis Pepper next door and much better than Tonys also next door. Cash only

There's 3 restaurants right next door to each other right on the beach. There's Loco Locos, Tony's on the Beach and Chile's Pepper. They are all very good, but for breakfast, Locos is my favorite. I don't know where they get their bread, but it's fantastic, not like the stuff you get in most restaurants. I actually go in and... More

Loco Loco’s is on the beach next to Tony’s and Chili’s Pepper. It is a small restaurant that some posters have described as “family.” That’s a good description as even a youngerster was doing his homework when we got there about 5 p.m. The place filled up fairly quickly, which is more than I can say for the vacant Tony’s... We've been visiting Maztalan a couple time a year for 8 years now. Found Loco Loco's on our 1st trip and it's one of favorites ever since. Food is always excellent, service always great and you can't beat the ocean front setting. Loco Loco's is next to Tony's & Chills Peper which we have tried too, but the Loco Loco's... More
