"Awesome Place" to have breakfast or coffee! Baked goods fresh daily... cookies, muffins, carrottcakes, and wonderful people who work hard to make your visit a first class experience... I would recommend it as a place not to be missed while in Mazatlan... Two great locations, North Beach area at Punta Cerritos...and Old Town mal'icon near the Shrimp Bucket!

We went to Looney Bean today, and everyone's coffee was terrible. The Americano was worse than Folgers Instant, and the latte was equally bad. Zero flavor. Won't be back.

This family run coffee shop is great. Fresh baking. Amazing coffee & cappuccinos - better than home! We loved it and would recommend it to anyone & everyone. 10 minute walk up the beach from the Riu

Please stop by and say hola to the great people at Looney Beans. Such a nice place to go and sit and enjoy a coffee and a amazing peanut butter cookie which is the size of my head. Everything is homemade and very tasty. Proceeds are to help the young Mexican people that are employed their further their education. Wonderful... More

They have excellent coffee, great waitstaff, and the owner is super friendly! The atmosphere reminded me of Cheers (Norm!). Everyone seemed to know everyone else. I did notice some folks eating breakfast there (other than a pastry), so we'll have to check into that next time.

This is where the tourists caffeinate. The drinks are sweet and the pastries sweeter. North American owner. She's sweet too. I'm not sure if locals ever come here. It's located in an over-priced strip mall near a beach to the north of the city. You can barter, but you'll get better deals at Plaza Machado. The big draw is that... More

The carrot cake is really good. The thick rich cream cheese frosting will send you into a diabetic shock but it's totally worth it. Great coffee, fresh beans and great price.

Good breakfast, good prices and internet service.. Only drawback is 1 washroom shared between men and women.. Could really use better bathroom facilities... Otherwise great place...

Great coffee/tea reward after our morning walk to Cerritos Point, or after a run on the Malecon (at the second location). The coffee is roasted on site so there's a wonderful aroma, also a warm, friendly atmosphere. Some also enjoyed delicious muffins and waffles but being wheat-free, I didn't indulge in those.

Awesome coffee shop located just up the road from the riu emerald bay. You can taste their yummy coffee (oreo frappe) and eat from their yummy menu, you can also rent surfboards cheaper then on the beach. They also have a looney cafe at the south end of the mazatlan coast just after the street named "angel floral street" ........ More
