We went to Water's Edge on New Year's Eve. They had a fixed price dinner and I had always wanted to try this restaurant. Perhaps New Year's Eve wasn't a good choice for a first visit. I was not overwhelmed with our meal. I would call it a somewhat above average. Maybe a B- The building itself is very interesting.... More

The class with Chef Alastar of Water's Edge Bistro was amazing. Our group was small enough for hands-on work, and chef Alistair's relaxed teaching method made it a great cooking class. Our lunch with all of the dishes we cooked was delightful! Alastair even conducted a mini wine pairing lesson with the different dishes we had created. The only thing... More

We had a late lunch here after attending an event at the local theater. They have a special sandwich menu for 100 pesos which includes a choice from their specials that day. It also includes either a beer or house wine. We had a large group. The service was excellent as was the food. This is our second visit to... More

I went there to attend a function to raise money for the animal rescue people in Mazatlan. I was impressed enough that I would not hesitate to go back for any main meal. These people know what they are doing.

Took four ladies for lunch at this quaint spot. For 100 pesos there were 6 choices some of which included soup or salad plus that included a soft drink ,lemonade or a beer. Best part for me was for 20 pesos extra you could have a glass of wine or Sangria. It was a very nice Cabernet Sauvignon! Staff were... More

OK. I want to love this place.... very nice atmosphere and location. From the beginning, all in our party agreed, just a cold experience. Called to reserve because my husband and I had dined there last year. Requested the bar area so we could see the action and I was frustrated that the restaurant had not even indicated my special... Make sure to visit on a night with live music! We visited with a very large party (12) and received terrific service. There is an extensive drink and wine menu. Everyone was happy with their mains, and some highlights were - crab cakes, flatbread, gyoza, Thai red curry prawns, and mushroom chicken. Very elegantly plated. This restaurant is no longer...
