Mazatlan's Best!

We ate at this beautiful restaurant for lunch and for dinner and both were exceptional. Great flavours, service and most of all the presentation.

This is my kind of restaurant. Thought, care and creativity go into the menu selections and not only do you taste it, you feel it. This is what most of the restaurants in Mazatlan just don’t get. I love the atmosphere, the professional service and the fact that someone really does care about serving quality food. It is a total... More

IMHO the best restaurant in Mazatlan. Love the ambiance, the service and the food! If I have one negative, it would be that sometimes the music is a little loud in the courtyard, making it difficult to hear table mates. But the food is always excellent ... I've never had a bad meal. If you get a chance and it... More

We visited this restaurant for the first time in December of 2014. My husband and I visit Mazatlán on a regular basis and we love the central historic district where Water's Edge Bistro is located. We had an amazing meal and enjoyed phenomenal live jazz music during our first visit and this convinced us to host our wedding rehearsal dinner... More

A lovely setting and superb food will meet you in this restaurant in the historic district of Mazatlán. The menu is eclectic with something for everyone; combine appetizers as a tapas kind of experience or order a full meal for your dinner. Whatever you chose, you're sure to be pleased A little more pricey than the average Mazatlán restaurant but... More

I have not been to this restaurant at its former location, but on a recent trip to Mazatlán, I stopped for lunch here on the recommendation of friends who gave me a tip when I was visiting the nearby English library. What a delightful find! I ate the Asian salad which was delicious! The waiter was particularly attentive and very... More

We were in Mazatlan for the day as one stop on our week-long Mexican Riviera cruise. Neither of us had been in Mazatlan before, so we were just keeping our eyes open as we walked through the Centro Historico towards the beach. Water's Edge Bistro caught our eye with its modern décor and inviting ambiance. The menu included lots of... More

Six of us dined recently, 2 for the first time on initial visit to Mazatlan. The group was unanimous in praise of the diversity of menu; blended with some unique selections; fresh ingredients and creative preparation. Mixed gyozas won raves; salads fresh & main courses were excellent. 2 opted for filet mignon and perfectly prepared; excellent accompanying dishes. Extremely popular... More

One of most favorite restaurants has moved from the actual waters edge inward toward plaza Machdo. Location changed but the food & service is still awesome. Our late lunch was one of our absolute best!! A rare place where fresh means fresh, hot is hot; cold is cold; and service excels!!
