A good place for lunch with friends. A varied menu and perfect service. If possible select the patio seating.

Terrific menu, very good wine list and cocktails, witty and attentive waiters with perfect English. I've eaten there 10 times and always found everything excellent.

We travel regularly to Mazatlan and always enjoy this restaurant. The owners are welcoming, the service is excellent and comes with a sense of humor and, of course, the food is of high quality, imaginative and delicious. The specials change weekly and this week's ceviche is a treat. We will be back.

We love the waters edge so much it's hard to get to another restaurant. The serving staff take very good care of you as well as the owners checking. The food is very original, local and flavourful. I would recommend the portobello chicken entree , Thai red curry prawns, cured beef or any of their salads. Also the pear cobbler... More

Enjoyed a wonderful evening at Waters Edge, from the moment we approached the restaurant until we walked out the door the service was impeccable. Our waiter was an ideal balance of appropriately formal with a touch of dry wit and he mixed Spanish and English as needed throughout the meal. We had a chicken entree with portobello mushrooms, served with... More

For the past four years we have come to Waters Edge for lunch at least once during our stay in Mazatlán. Today they did not disappoint as usual. There were three couples, pesto penne with chicken x 2, portabella mushroom ravioli in a goat cheese cream sauce, roasted vegetable salad, chicken burger and Asian salad. Raves all around. Great service!

Perhaps the most interesting thing about Water's Edge Bistro is that it no longer is at the water's edge in Mazatlan. It moved from Malecon, definitely water's edge, to close to Machado, the old central plaza, and brought its best-in-Mazetlan menu with it. The surroundings will remind you of El Presidio, which since opening has been best in Mazatlan for... More

My husband & live in Mazatlan year round. We are foodies & love eating out at different restaurants. We've ate at WE's old location twice. Lunch was a lovely presentation but bland tasting & not very much food for the price. Another time it was for breakfast where they didn't have the ingredients for our order so we had to... More
