We stayed in Mazatlan for 8 days, and went back 5 times! Even though we were staying at an all-inclusive resort nearby! It was the freshest food, and wonderful service!

Being from Denver, this funky little place was right up pour alley. We always look for delicious seafood and this place was very good, tacos for $2-3.00 my teenagers went crazy, shrimp burritos were very big for $5-6:00 .. The location is very easy to find, little scenery, but we went to beach across the street after each lunch. in... More

The atmosphere was lively. A lot of activity here with the locals coming to buy fish. Since I was a tourist, I'm obviously not able to buy any fish though, so it felt kind of odd just walking around looking only. It was still good to experience the atmosphere though.

First of all, the vibe here is great. They have a great location near Centro Historico with lots of activity near the weekend. Sadly, our food was sub-par. I ordered the gobernador tacos, and the tortillas were dry and grainy. My wife ordered grilled shrimp with a side salad, and received a meal-sized salad with no shrimp. When we asked... More

The "El Fish Market" that I frequented for four days last week has no view of the sea, so some of the photos here seem to be out of place. Maybe they own another establishment. Anyway this little joint on the street is invariably excellent, not only for fish but for succulent steaks (rib eye at 160 pesos). The English-style... More

Our visits to this restaurant were always a pleasure. The dishes and presentations were exceptional. Favorites were the grilled mahi mahi, fish tacos, and seafood combo brochette. Our friend who rarely orders fish became a convert. The staff was friendly and efficient.

It was a unique experience to see the fresh catch of the day and the locals bargaining for their share ,not to far from the Crab and Prawn market, now you need to witness these as I bet you never knew that the prawns could be so Huge.

Ate at the one on Olas Altos and nothing to write home about. ceviche ho-hum. Oysters rockefeller sub par and seared tuna average - the dipping sauce for the tuna didn't fit the entre at all. Bathroom - "bugers" on wall, urine crystals caked on wall. Who knows what the kitchen looks like. Not a return in the future.

At some point after our first two days in Mazatlan, I told my traveling companion that I wanted some fresh fish. On a bus trip into town, she yelled out to the bus driver to stop. I had no idea what she was doing. When we got off the bus, she pointed out the restaurant with the blue awning and... More
