The fish at The Fish Market in the Golden Zone is very good and so is the service although the setting is uninteresting and lacks any Mexican ambiance. Go for the food and if you can make it to the Fish Market at Olas Altas, the setting looks much more interesting.

The Fish Market has icy cold beer glasses for their local draft beer!! Have eaten there for the past several years and it has been consistently good. The Fish tacos are bueno and always chips and salsa gratis. The seafood is always fresh. Service is never a problem...

This was a great place to have lunch on an outdoor shaded patio on a hot day and enjoy one of Mazatlan's great beach views of ocean and rocks. The elegant patio was on a level above the street so not as noisy as other street level restaurants. It is in walking distance from the main plaza with the cathedral.... More

Went with my wife and two teenage kids. Service was probably a 2.5. Restaurant was not busy at all and they had a lot of employees standing around, but none of them seemed really interested in serving the customers they did have. Food was okay - probably a 3 to 3.5. Wasn't bad but certainly was not what I was... More

Visited twice and couldn't have been more pleased, friendly staff, fresh shrimp deliciously prepared and ice cold beer. First visit I had shrimp tacos...so good and next I had beer battered shrimp that were cooked to perfection and served with fried potatoes. As there is always some bad I would point out that chasing your server to get a bill... More

We visited the Ollas Altas location. We have had good experiences here on previous visits. However, this time we had to send back items twice. Finally, when I received my meal, I do not think that I was given what I ordered, but I gave up and ate whatever it was that they gave me. We will try again in... More

It just does not get much better than Fish & Chips plus coleslaw wrapped in a flour tortilla and topped with chipotle mayo! This is a "special request" item: Order the "Burro de Dorado" but ask that the fish be "capeado" (beer-battered). The portion is massive and a true bargain at less than $100 Pesos. The fire dancers (one of... More
