We have just spent 2 weeks in Mazatlan and Ernie's, very close to the El Cid Marina, was a nice surprise. The building has an elegance that makes me curious about it's history but we loved the quiet music in the background, and the good food. The Chicken D ( breast of chicken stuffed with spinach and cheese in a... More

Ernies has always been a favorite of ours and this year we were so disappointed, the service was terrible, we had a large group of 18 and our food was all done at different times, drink were terrible, we had to send them back. I hope they get their act together before next year.

Sorry, but we always look forward to going back to Ernie Tomatoes every year for the past 10 or 12 years. - This visit was disappointing. - empty restaurant on a Tuesday night. The staff was so bored they were almost over attentive to a fault. - Meal was average. Couldn't pay with credit card since their machine and WIFI... More

This is an awesome bar! It's very traveler friendly. Heather is an awesome bartender! I was delayed on my trip and stayed and extra day in SA so it was cool to have a place that I could hang out and get more bang for my buck. Plus the people are awesome there too! Highly recommend if you don't need... More

Went to Ernie's in its new location across from and north of the Pueblo Bonito. Everyone said the food is excellent and they were right! I had the Lady D Chicken and it was to die for! When does one get really excited about chicken? Well this chicken is worth it stuffed with cheese and covered in a creamy sauce... More

We ate under the covered porch at Ernie's which provided a nice view of the busy goings-on from the street outside. The inside of the place is more like a nightclub; there is a dance floor, lots of seating, etc. and the wonderful old architecture and decor is beautiful to look at. Our waiter and host were very prompt in... More

Ernies must be a late night hot-spot on the weekends. We went there for some munchies and drinks - we'ed had a late lunch. Ordered fried calamari and guacamole with a margarita and a Corona. All was very, very tasty. There were just a couple other tables with guests. What we noticed is that wait-staff began arriving (this is about... More

While the food was good at Earnies there does not seem to be anyone in charge. We were there 2 nights ago and there was a children's party happening at the same time. The waiters allowed them to terrorize the whole place. They were running around screeching and hiding under tables and chairs. They were more than loud and disruptive... More

Ernie's (also known as Ernie's tomatoes) must be a very different place later in the night. We were the first diners when it opened, the DJ was not playing music, the giant screen TV had soccer on, and the service was blazingly fast. Cute waitstaff, funny props to have photos taken with your group, lots of "free" appetizers, after dinner... More
