I enjoy this place. Nothing fancy about it, but Carlos is one of the most friendly people I have met. You are never rushed to eat and go. The mix of Cuban and Mexican foods is a nice touch. Carlos always remembers my face and waves to me as I stroll by or when I am at the hotel across... More

Very good food....can't beat the surroundings especially in the evening with the outside seating and bands playing!

Thought the idea of a non-Mexican meal sounded great. The place was packed and we could see that the owner/server was going to be running to get the crowd served. He worked very hard to get everybody fed. That being said, I felt my meal fell shy of my expectations. I ordered barbeque ribs, which were very tasty. However, the... More

We sat outside and the cars, trucks and busses rumbled by non-stop but the excellent waiter, mojitos and food kept us distracted from our location! We ordered the Cuban dishes recommended by our fine waiter. The food and drinks were, Mexican style, slow to arrive, so don't go if you are starving but do go! Each of our party of... More

Really enjoyed eating and drinking here. Ate dinner here several times through out the week we stayed for spring break. Stopped when bar hopping to grab beers to take while we walk to the next place. I really recommend it. Very nice people.

The food was good here but not the best we had in Mazatlan. The mojitos are awesome though!! Weonly ate there once.

Good Cuban food, their black bean soup is delish! The pork dish is great. The owners are nice. We have ordered the soup "to go" a couple times, it is that good. We go to Mazatlan twice a year and always have at least one meal here each time we visit.

This is a casual place, good food, inexpensive with good service. We had lunch here, ordering an entree each. The two of us could easily have shared one. The food is nicely spiced, nicely flavored. It’s not in the same category as Topolo, Pancho’s, El Aljibe or others that would be called fine dining. This is basic, casual but good... More

"Come on in, there's no time share presentations here my friends..." This is how my wife and I met Carlos, patriarch of the family run Cuban/Mexican restaurant Carlos & Lucia's. It really is a family affair with Carlos and Lucia and their kids Carlitos and Jacqueline all chipping in to serve you and make this the one place you absolutely... More

Nice little family run friendly place. Your servers will be Carlos, Lucia or their daughter. Food was O K but the service was lacking. No one seemed to be taking charge and we were asked three times by all three if our orders had been taken. Once the crowd dispersed Lucia and her daughter sat at the table and we... More
