Wow, we went back to this place a couple of times during our stay in Mazatlan. The food was excellent, the prices were very reasonable and the people were very friendly! It seemed so much like a Ma and Pa joint to us and that's what we look for when were looking for a place to dine! Oh yeah, the... More

My daughter and I visited this restaurant earlier this year. She has a problem with corn products so Lucia made her chips from flour tortillias. The Imperial shrimp was excellent! I have never had a more caring restaurant and the food was second to none. Their son had shown me how he makes the delicious mohitos a few years ago... More

We had eaten here 15 or so years ago at their old location, but for some reason had not returned over the years. This year we went for dinner, as well as returning for breakfast the next day. We were the only customers during this "low season" for Gringo visitors, which meant we got lots of good stories and information... More

This restaurant is farther down the road from the cluster of tourist restaurants and I hope it doesn't hurt their business. Carlos was there and was such a gracious host. He was very personable and took care of us the whole time. The mojitos were big - only drawback was the mint was in small pieces and tended to get... More

This is small cozy restaurant, towards the end of the hotel zona in Mazatlan. The food was good but what impressed me the most was the mojitos. I have never had a better mojito before. It was so delicious and refreshing. The owner is very friendly and had a nice chat with us. The only thing to pay attention is... More

This was our third trip to Mazatlan, staying at El Cid Marina this time. We spent out last dinner here based on other TripAdvisor reviews, and we were not disappointed. They do not accept credit cards; cash only. Fortunately, we had pesos on us; they probably wouldn't take dollars, but I don't know that for sure. We visited on May... More

We were given information regarding this restaurant from Senor Frogs and so we decided to have breakfast there the next morning. the food was good but the service was extremely slow. I would go again and just allow for more time

I enjoy this place. Nothing fancy about it, but Carlos is one of the most friendly people I have met. You are never rushed to eat and go. The mix of Cuban and Mexican foods is a nice touch. Carlos always remembers my face and waves to me as I stroll by or when I am at the hotel across... More
