A mainstay and never disappointing

Regular spot for us in Mazatlan. The wait staff is outstanding, from you waiter/waitress to the guy making you salsa, they all make it a show...and he will ask if you want the salsa gringo style (mild) or local style (hot). The food and drinks are both good. The reason we go back is good food at... read more

Grilled shrimp were delicious as was my hubby really enjoyed the whole grilled red snapper. We also enjoyed the delicious bananas flambe. They also had a young couple doing traditional dancing and a young gal that had an amazing and powerful voice. What a great evening!

We had a good experience at Los Zarapes. Located in the north end of the Golden Zone, this second-story restaurant has a great atmosphere and decor, with some outdoor and plenty of indoor seating. While the menu has many offerings, it’s not deep in the typical Mexican food (burritos, enchiladas, etc.) That does not matter however, because if you want... More

We really enjoyed the whole experience here. We had great service. Watching the salsa being made is always fun, our "salsa guy" made a sideshow out of it he was fun! The food was good but I really enjoyed the magic show from the owner. I still can't understand how he did some of those things! Clean place I would... More

John has a very quality restaurant in Mazatlan call Los Zarapes. In our opinion one of the best in Mazatlan with authentic Mexican decor and the food was excellent you need to make sure you stop in for a meal at this establishment. You will not be disappointed. Thanks Jorge and John for the warm welcome and the great food... More

Salsa made from scratch at your table with the amount of "heat" you wish. Roasted red and green tomatoes are the key to this salsa, may be the best I have ever eaten!

What a fun experience. We have been here many times and each time it had been fun. The salsa and guacamole presentation is artful and very good. The service is great and the waiters truly enjoy their job of entertaining and presentation. The food is good and the overall experience is delightful.
