We have spent more than a few evenings in this great restaurant, either for a full meal or just appies and wine. Our favourite waiter (Pepe) is always gracious and attentive without seeming to .......He is a busy man. Food is wonderful, try the mochejete!! One of the best around and the beauty of them is if you want to... More

Now I understand that most Mexican restaurants have a different pace to them and most are fine. This restaurant took a ridiculous amount of time to bring us or food and our food was cold. They aren't even very busy. I ordered the filet mignion which included a baked potato. The potato was about the size of a half dollar.... More

From the moment we arrived we were not disappointed! The staff aimed to please from the start. We were entertained all though out the evening. One waiter made the best salsa... More

It was our last night in town and we really did not have any plans of what to do or where to go. For the last couple of years Los Zarapes has been on our long list but we never have made it here. So it was close enough to walk to, which we did. Upon entering we were asked... More

I come for the molcajetes - they are so good here! My mom had the fresh mahi mahi and she said it was excellent. The service is outstanding here and they make fresh salsa to your liking right at your table.

Last time we were in Mazatlan, we ate here about 3 times in one week's time. The food was fantastic! All entree' items ordered were delicious and good sided portions. The waiters were really friendly and attentive. We plan to visit them again in May when we come to town.

This is our second visit to Mazatlan. We did not try this restaurant the first time but now I wish I did. Food was very good, service excellent and the decor was very nice. A mariachi band came by and played for us then a couple who danced a few traditional Mexican dances and a singer - they came around... More

Outstanding food and service! The molcahete is absolutely delicious. The waiters do magic for the kids/teens. Great location, and live music several nights a week. Add it to your schedule you wont be sorry.
