We really enjoyed the whole experience here. We had great service. Watching the salsa being made is always fun, our "salsa guy" made a sideshow out of it he was fun! The food was good but I really enjoyed the magic show from the owner. I still can't understand how he did some of those things! Clean place I would... More

John has a very quality restaurant in Mazatlan call Los Zarapes. In our opinion one of the best in Mazatlan with authentic Mexican decor and the food was excellent you need to make sure you stop in for a meal at this establishment. You will not be disappointed. Thanks Jorge and John for the warm welcome and the great food... More

We always enjoy this restaurant and we get there early so that we can eat outside. The menu has a good variety and the salsa that is made table side is superb. This time my husband has the fillet and it was delicious. Very good flavor and good perfectly. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and, they we also very good.... More

Salsa made from scratch at your table with the amount of "heat" you wish. Roasted red and green tomatoes are the key to this salsa, may be the best I have ever eaten!

What a fun experience. We have been here many times and each time it had been fun. The salsa and guacamole presentation is artful and very good. The service is great and the waiters truly enjoy their job of entertaining and presentation. The food is good and the overall experience is delightful.

We ordered the 2 for 1 and were very clear in both English and Spanish that we only wanted 2 plates. The waiter brought 4 plates of food and refused to take 2 plates back when we complained. We asked to talk to the manager but the waiter Gabriel said that he was the manager ! Stay away from this... More

My wife and I have been to Mazatlan many times over the last 25plus years. Los Zarapes and its owners will be sure to meet you and make you feel at home. We spent time at our table with Jorge one of then owners and shared story's like you would with a guest at home. The food is very reasonably... More

We caught an early bird two for one ribs dinner that was excellent. The restaurant has several different areas for seating, was a bit loud, but the service, as in all of Mazatlan was very good.
