Last time we were in Mazatlan, we ate here about 3 times in one week's time. The food was fantastic! All entree' items ordered were delicious and good sided portions. The waiters were really friendly and attentive. We plan to visit them again in May when we come to town.

This is our second visit to Mazatlan. We did not try this restaurant the first time but now I wish I did. Food was very good, service excellent and the decor was very nice. A mariachi band came by and played for us then a couple who danced a few traditional Mexican dances and a singer - they came around... More

Outstanding food and service! The molcahete is absolutely delicious. The waiters do magic for the kids/teens. Great location, and live music several nights a week. Add it to your schedule you wont be sorry.

We visited Mazatlan for the first time this month and had an amazing night here! Great drinks, neat atmosphere (including the fish tanks!), friendly servers! We will be back!

Loved it last year, ate here twice this year.. Quality consistently good, excellent service. One time shared a steak, tender and flavorful. Showy and tasty Bananas Flambe tableside. Second time wife had Chicken shiskebab wonderful mushrooms, me grilled Mahi Mahi with hint of garlic. Rafalelito did Mexican coffee with a flair. About 7 pm was Mexican dance and singing show,... We have been long time followers of Luis. His restaurant is now the main eating establishment we take new comers to Mazatlan. The wait staff are great 99% of the time, food is presented with flair and flavor. The fresh salsa prepared at your table is a treat for most with any amount of spice you choose. Enjoy Spanish coffee?... More

We quite enjoyed our dinner here. We came here on the advice of some of the locals, when asking about where to find more authentic tasting food. We were not disappointed! We came earlier in the evening, so didn't get to experience the music/night life the place is reportedly famous for, but still enjoyed the unique setting and décor. As... More

Food was good but pricier than similar quality elsewhere. The appetizer was good - better than the usual bowl of nachos & salsa. We entered through the back door - could not locate the front entrance - hidden by trees & shrubs. Allergies were really bothersome during the meal and after leaving.

When brought here I was told this place was going to be something special. It sort of missed the mark. We walked in and the restaurant was close to empty, and it stayed so for almost all the night. The decor, the waiters attire, everything was really really dated. Even the music, it was a loop of songs from the... More

Excellent food and staff. We've been going about once a week and in the evening, they have entertainment of various styles, Last night we went for evening drinks and they were hosting an event. Entertainment was a modern/rock band with a sax, trumpet, and keyboard included. After that band was a Ranchero band. Los Zarapes can handle the large groups... More
