Friendly atmosphere

I met friends for drinks at the bar. The bartender introduces himself to each person and remembers their names the next time the drop in!

Went here the beginning of Oct. We had a party of eight. We all enjoy our dining experiences together. All of us agreed that Gus Gus was just average. We came for the music....and that's all we should have come for. There's at least 50 restaurants in MZT that have better food. Gus Gus is fun for a drink and... More

I was looking forward to the type of French toast that I have enjoyed in other Mexican restaurants. Thick slices covered in cinnamon sugar. I was disappointed with what was served here. Very thin and boring bread along with a dry omelet and bland fried potatoes. Although I had a waiter who was nice, he was far too opinionated on... More

Came upon this place after walking for awhile. We were very pleased. The chicken fajitas were great but different than served in the states as they top theirs with cheese and they tell you that up front. I had the Gus Gus shrimp. Large cheese stuffed bacon wrapped shrimp that are grilled and are excellent. The margarita was generous and... More

We ate here after walking 6miles through the city. They we're so welcoming and had water and cold beers on the table before we even got settled. The wait staff was so great when we asked if they sold tee shirts they immediately went and brought out every option they had then folded our selection nicely and put in a... More

The food here is wonderful! I recommend the chicken fijatas! It was a lovely evening to sit outside, live music and attentive wait staff.

I don't remember too much about the place, it was after a long day of drinking. I do remember being served promptly and I liked the setup

Loved the outdoor music, good food and service. Try the dirty monkey drink for dessert. It is outdoor seating with some inside so expect vendors with flowers or bracelets. They are polite. Close to El Cid El Moro, and open late.

Excellent location. Nice service. But expensive for eating. The food is not bad but the portions are tiny , for the price. Great for drinks but sadly that is all.

Gus Gus has always been a go to place for fast and good food, throw a little live entertainment and you get the feel for Mazatlan. Located in the heart of the Golden Zone so you can jump in the ocean and then go for a nice meal and then sit back and listen to the tunes whilst getting drunk
