I didn't eat at Gus y Gus, but did go multiple times to see live music on the patio. Cold, reasonably priced drinks with good service, and a good local band-- just what we were looking for. They have music every night, so if you are into that sort of thing, go check it out. It seems to slant toward... More

Have been going to Mazatlan for years and the best breakfast ive had is at Gus Gus. The cheese omlette is incredible. Cheezy and fluffy. They give you so much it could easily serve two. The staff is incredible. Very friendly and always trying to please you. Definitly worth a try.

Looking at other traveler's photos the serves looked huge. However, we ordered seafood and the amounts were only average in size. That's ok, but I wouldn't say the fish meals were spectacular in flavor. I had to actually ask for more tequila in my margarita even though I was told they had the best in Mazatlán, Staff are very friendly,... More

We usually only eat breakfasts here and it is always great. Good coffee and good amounts of food on your plate. The waiters are friendly and talkative as well as informative of things going on. I like to come in the afternoon and sit with a cold Pacifico or two and people watch at the shops across the street. Went... More

We popped by for an evening of food, dancing and music. The service was quick and responsive. We ordered an appetizer and main course. The meal was preceded with tacos and the best salsa we had in Mazatlán. The meal arrived promptly as the band began. Both orders were delicious. The Band played a short set of rock anthems by... Great environment and love the bartenders! Music at night is a bonus, prices are great! Food is good, and service is quicker than a mexican minute :)

We have eaten at Gus y Gus about 3-4 times during two separate visits to Mazatlan. We have always enjoyed our exquisitely prepared meals. My favorite is the Gus y Gus shrimp. The are mammoth sized 1" sized shrimp with an creamy pink/orange mild sauce over top. We enjoy eating outside most of the time. We have paid to have... More

Was there a few weeks ago and just as good as it was a few years ago. We ate there 2 times in a week, both at dinner. Drinks are great and food was good and the price was very fair. Like the outside area as we love to watch people. Like the poster stated below, didn't like the timeshare... More
