Great shrimp chimichangas while sitting under an umbrella on the beach. Watch your change though when paying the bill. I gave the waiter change with a large bill wanting to get just paper pesos back and he assumed the change was his tip... he short changed himself by doing that.

The Playa Bruja was the number one recommendation from many locals. We had to try it and glad we did. 2 for 1 happy hour was a hit and there were lots of great menu options. Try the lobster shrimp combo!

When visiting Mazatlan the restaurant Playa Bruja at the far end of town is a must. Open air and on the beach. Best food and service in Mazatlan at really good prices. Happy hour is two for one.

As if Mazatlan didn't have enough beachside restaurants with great views...this place is no exception. The food is very fresh and the service is very friendly. Get the fish ceviche; they also have some excellent fish platters. Very healthy and tasty. And views to really take in. Prices are decent. Worth the visit up on the north side of town.

Out of the way location. But worth the trip. Pricing is in line with expectations. Wide ranging fish menu. Limited other choices. Only downside. It can get windy and even cold out on this "point".

Went here on the recommendation of Canadian friends we met at the resort. What a find. Went on a Sat. early evening. The drinks were Happy Hour, the food was amazing. We tried a variety of food and all incredible. The fish was out of this world as was the chicken and beef. Mexican dancers put on an authentic costumed... More

Very happy to find that Sunday's at Playa Bruja are still great---good music food drinks and atmosphere. Get there around 5pm to get a table or call for reservations. Very popular with locals and visitors. Seafood is great..I like the fajitas and the Azteca bowl.

Last year we ate at a great restaurant down the beach from the RIU called Mr. Lionso (Playa Bruja). The food was very good however the prices went up from last year we ordered the exact same thing as we got last year and it cost 100 pesos more this time. But it was still worth the price for what... Food and 2-for-1 drinks were very good here. There are shops right outside the entrance if you're looking to pick up some souvenirs. Authentic cultural dancers were entertaining. Mariachi expects $10USD per song, so come prepared with cash if you want them to play for you (also to tip the bathroom attendant). My only regret is that we were there... More

We decided to go here to watch the sunset and it turned out to be much more. It was a great experience from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. They have a very friendly and efficient staff. Music or dancing is none stop and the food is very good. My husband had friend shrimp, our friends... More
