Long time favorite for the food, marred by time share pitch

My family has been coming to this restaurant for over a decade, and the seafood has never failed to disappoint. On our most recent trip the food was still great. The service was great, they sang for a birthday, and brought out a balloon hat. Thoroughly embarrassing a member of our group. They... read more

My sister and I decided to dine just before sunset. We sat outside on the open air lanai. The sunset on that day was breath taking. There was a mariachi band playing further down the beach. Service was excellent, and the food was sublime. Since Mazitlan is the shrimp capital of Mexico, we went with shrimp , shrimp and more... More

We enjoyed a dinner at La Costa Marinara and a very good seafood menu. The service was excellent and one of the waiters entertained us singing a Mexican song

This place is so clean and the food is good and the service was great. You can sit and eat while looking at the ocean and feeling the ocean breeze.

We go to La Costa Marinera every couple of years while in Mazatlan. This year my husband had grilled shrimp and I had the grilled fish fillet. Both were excellent. Our friends had the meat plate for two and they enjoyed their food as well. The free margaritas were also very tasty. But the best part was the amazing sunset.... More

We ate here for dinner on our last night in Mazatlan, 2/19/15. We had a coupon from our hotel for 2 free margaritas, and both had strawberry. They were the best we had while in Mazatlan, they used real strawberries and were yummy. Hubby ordered the grilled garlic fish and i ordered shrimp. Half grilled half fried. The grilled were... Someone said "a good restaurant doesn't need to hand out coupons." We should have listened to that advice. To begin with, the chips were not fresh, the Costa Marinera Shrimp was drenched in a thick, gooey sauce made with canned mushrooms. I feel bad even writing this but if you are a foodie at all, I would recommend skipping this... More

We went with a group of 11 people on 2/15/15. My husband and I shared the shrimp platter for two. It was the most amazing shrimp I have ever had in my life. They were HUGE and full of flavor. My favorite was the bacon wrapped. My husband also enjoyed the oyster shots. Others at our table liked the shrimp... More

This was the first restaurant that I ate at on a recent trip to Mazatlan, and it was likely my least favorite over the course of my trip. The location and setting was over the top, but the food was only average. Fairly costly for the quality and amount of good you get. If care less about the location and... More

We have come here many times. But no more. We usually pay cash. This time we used a credit card. We wanted to pay in Pesos because we don't have interchange fees and the exchange rate is the legal rate. We got the Visa receipt and it had a disclaimer on it that allowed a 3% mark-up. We went to... More
