Great food and service

This place is so clean and the food is good and the service was great. You can sit and eat while looking at the ocean and feeling the ocean breeze.

We go to La Costa Marinera every couple of years while in Mazatlan. This year my husband had grilled shrimp and I had the grilled fish fillet. Both were excellent. Our friends had the meat plate for two and they enjoyed their food as well. The free margaritas were also very tasty. But the best part was the amazing sunset.... More

We ate here for dinner on our last night in Mazatlan, 2/19/15. We had a coupon from our hotel for 2 free margaritas, and both had strawberry. They were the best we had while in Mazatlan, they used real strawberries and were yummy. Hubby ordered the grilled garlic fish and i ordered shrimp. Half grilled half fried. The grilled were... Someone said "a good restaurant doesn't need to hand out coupons." We should have listened to that advice. To begin with, the chips were not fresh, the Costa Marinera Shrimp was drenched in a thick, gooey sauce made with canned mushrooms. I feel bad even writing this but if you are a foodie at all, I would recommend skipping this... More

We went with a group of 11 people on 2/15/15. My husband and I shared the shrimp platter for two. It was the most amazing shrimp I have ever had in my life. They were HUGE and full of flavor. My favorite was the bacon wrapped. My husband also enjoyed the oyster shots. Others at our table liked the shrimp... More

This was the first restaurant that I ate at on a recent trip to Mazatlan, and it was likely my least favorite over the course of my trip. The location and setting was over the top, but the food was only average. Fairly costly for the quality and amount of good you get. If care less about the location and... More

We have come here many times. But no more. We usually pay cash. This time we used a credit card. We wanted to pay in Pesos because we don't have interchange fees and the exchange rate is the legal rate. We got the Visa receipt and it had a disclaimer on it that allowed a 3% mark-up. We went to... More

Our party of 8 Californians ate here last night. We came to the conclusion that even the worst Mexican restaurant in CA would most likely be better than Costa Marinera. The setting and the service is very good but really for instance when do you get white rice in the bottom of your Taco Salad? The Shrimp dishes were all... More

If you ever come to Mazatlán you have to try “La costa Marinera”. Food is very tasty and if you get to seat outside, the sight to the Pacific Ocean is amazing.

We just stopped in here after walking the streets for a quick drink. Cute place, kids loved the shark and swordfish. Drinks were good, free chips and salsa. Great location- right on the beautiful beach!
