Been visiting this restaurant for over 10 years. There was a time when this restaurant was always packed....seemingly, it's lost a little of its past luster. The service is great, but there is always the table to table time share hustle happening. A simple no thank you suffices, but I'd prefer it didn't happen at all. The entrance to diegos... More

My hubby and I dined at La Costa Marinera on our last night in Mazatlan. I wish we had discovered it earlier in our trip! We would have come back several times for sure! The shrimp was delicious, the oysters were great, and the lobster was terrific!

Eat here often for lunch and dinner. Great selection of fresh seafood. Fast efficient, friendly service. Never disappointed in the food or service. Locals attend also-so that speaks for itself. Couples or family friendly.

A nice location on the beach in Mazatlan in the tourist strip. Had their shrimp party platter for two and it was ok but kinda of expensive for what you get.

The dining area was next to the windows with the beach and ocean right outside. Musicians, dancers, even horseback rides all readily available, as well as being able to watch surfers and swimmers while we ate. The food was phenomenal - large quantities and superior quality, all at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

La Costa Marinera is a good seafood restaurant but very little else to choose from. The seafood platter for 2 is impressively large and will fill the largest appetite. While the food is average the setting is great. Beachfront dinning with a great sunset view and the waves close enough to hear if they are not providing mariachi music.

We had the seafood platter to share. It was delicious. This restaurant is tucked away and overlooks the beach. It was lovely being able to hear and see the waves crashing as we enjoyed our meal. The staff were friendly and attentive too.

I am not a huge shrimp fan but I loved the shrimp at La Costa Marinera! Great staff, food, drinks, and atmosphere right on the beach. We definitely planned on going back!

We went to this place thinking we'd get fresh seafood -- the oysters were old and tasteless, the shrimp was overcooked and tough, and the fish definitely didn't taste fresh. To top it off, the place was expensive. STAY AWAY, unless you want overpriced, LESS-than-fresh seafood.
