Our first night in Mazatlan, we decided to get the 30 shrimp. The shrimp were large and good but did not include any side such as potatoes or salad. In the morning, at breakfast, I had an "American meal of scrambled eggs, bacon and toast which were fine. My husband ate the Mexican specialty of eggs and sausage. If you... More

Went to the Shrimp Bucket on a Sunday for lunch. My friend recommended it. She had not been there in about 5 or 6 years. She said they had great Margaritas. She ordered one and had to send it back twice because it was terrible. I ordered the shrimp salad, great disappointment. Mt husband ordered the grilled shrimp tacos and... More

I have been traveling in Mexico for 20 years and have never been food poisoned until I had breakfast at the Shrimp Bucket. I had the marlin stew and have been sick for two days. The food all seemed edible but clearly it all came from a can. The coffee was barely warm and seemed like they had used the... More

Ate here a couple of times as it was in our hotel building. The shrimp ceviche was lovely, as were the shrimp tacos. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the place was lovely and clean.

After roaming throughout the downtown market we decided to stop for lunch here.Five of us shared the Shrimp boat, with 6 kinds of wonderfully prepared shrimp, fries and rice, along with a huge platter of peel and eat shrimp. We had a free cup of fish soup to start (lovely!), and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had... More

We got a bucket of coconut shrimp. Something had quite a distinctive off-taste.. Not sure if it was the batter or was it the shrimp? Either way, it was quite unpleasant. The prices were fair I guess, but at that price there should be no issues with quality. We also had the auga chille, and while it was too mild... More

We chose to do the regular order of all three types of shrimp. We had 3 orders between 5 of us and there was plenty with enough left over to take to the hotel for the next day's lunch. The shrimp were big and the French fries were good. Very reasonably priced...our second time to go. We'd go again if... More

Next door to the El Fish House, this place seemed like a tourist trap, which it is geared towards tourists, but not a trap. The drinks were good and the food was really, really good. Go hungry! If you love shrimp, you need to go here.
