The best coconut shrimp!

This restaurant sits across the street from the Malacon and is a little south from where the buses turn to travel to Old Mazatlan. You can sit outside to enjoy the view or inside where it can be cooler. The food is delicious, plentiful, and the service is good. We took a taxi to the restaurant... read more

We had the SHrimp Boat and it was good, but aside form cut potatoes, no additional accompliments. The cost was over $400 pesos. The inside looks dated, but I suspect with a crowd in the evening it could look 'rustic'. Would I return, probably not even though this place was highly rated. I would try the place next door, the... Went for vacation with the family and had the "shrimp bucket" beer batter...it was delicious, enough to feed 4 adults.

Horrible service, ok food. Better options all over the city - take 5 minutes and walk up to Machado Square for much better food.

This place is tucked into an awesome area where you can sit back and enjoy a busy little section of Mazatlan. The staff always makes sure your drinks are full and your food is made to your liking. Because of the location, this is by far my favorite restaurant. It's at the end of the malecon but right in the... More

We enjoyed the spring breeze on the veranda at El Shrimp Bucket in Old Mazatlán. Our view was of a restored three-story vintage building from the 1920's beach city. The patio was clean, comfortable and relaxing. The three of us decided to order the Shrimp Boat with varieties of shrimp, cooked to perfection. The entrée included breaded, boiled, fried and... I had several good meals here. Try the Spanish Fish (mahi-mahi or swordfish) smothered in olive oil and garlic.

On vaca with the extended family, we rolled in on a weeknight. We sat outside with plenty of room. There was something for everyone , especially if you like shrimp, a specialty of the region. I shared a "shrimp boat" with my teenage son and even then there were left overs! Good service as well.

Happened by here as tour guide suggested the place as having some simple but tasty shrimp dishes. Very large and tasty selections-our favorite was the coconut shrimp ( with a few Pacifico's of course!) . Friends had fish tacos which also were good they said. Would have given it a "5" but for the extra folks coming around looking for... More

We stopped in here to watch the Semana Motto motorcycle parade and were pleasantly surprised. Hubby had the shrimp Molcejate.....tons of shrimp, but very spicy......good for him. I had the shrimp tacos.....good, not too big, nice balance of flavors. Good margaritas!
