Description: This small restaurant under an open-air palapa is on the same property as Palma Real Hotel. I've been eating there for many years and it is consistently excellent (I own a vacation home nearby).

There are actually a whole series of "Ramadas" along this beach. The term defines a thatched roof structure and that is what you have here with plastic tables and chairs. One ramada is distinguished from the next by the color of their table clothes. A friend of mine who has been many times, took me to his favorite of the... More

Great beach for kids. Great for people watching on weekends. Mostly locals. Sunken ship right offshore is good for snorkelers. So is area where the river enters and up the coast from there. If you want to eat, my favorite Ramafa is Miraldos. Bring a cooler with beer or whatever. They do not care as long as you order food.... More

Gotta try the "pescado sarandeado" and the mariscada! If you like seafood, this place is a must! Enjoy the beach while you wait for your food to be prepared.

We have eaten huachinango there every trip for the past twenty years! It is awesome! The place is great for people watching. You can take your own liquor, too!

La Boquita offers an authentic Mexican family beach experience. Great seafood and people watching. Gentle waves and warm water. Lots of restaurants to choose from. This is not nouvelle cuisine dining, it is unpretentious, real and good.

There are many small restaurants in this area all offering a wide variety of seafood and fish dishes. In many of these you can chose the fresh fish you want to eat, have it cooked and stuffed and served the way you like it. Great dish for 2 to 20. You decide and choose the fish, many types available from... More

We were so discouraged when stopping at #1 for a late lunch to find only one vacant table and the others filled with very noisy young people. It was also very, very hot because of the crowd. We saw, rather than heard, musicos and decided that was the last straw so we left. We drove to #3, not far up... More
