This is a strange, somewhat misleading Tripadvisor listing. La Boquita has several restaurants - not just one. La Boquita is the northwest part of the bay which includes, to the southeast, the lovely walking beach extending to Miramar and Santiago, ending just before the rocky peninsula where one finds Las Hadas and other resorts. In the La Boquita area there... More

This is where the locals go. Everyone is friendly. It is very safe and tourist should come here and enjoy a real Mexican meal. The red snapper is incredible and fresh. This place beats every other restaurant we ate at for three weeks. The service was great and we speak four words of Spanish. But you can get by with... More

I have been to the Ramadas (a row of small palapa roof restaurants) on La Boquita beach many times. It is relaxing, fun, inexpensive and the seafood is excellent. Hurricane Patricia did some major damage to the Ramadas, but they will rebuild quickly. Show your support by returning and frequenting these places so they can get back on their feet.... More

While most of the enramadas are very good, we always head for Marildos. Try their Pescado Zarandeado. It's the best in Manzanillo!

If having great fish that was caught a few hours before you got there, this is the place. Its a fisherman's enclave with the boats right in front. The setting is primitive, but authentic as you watch your choice grilled right in front of you.A real treat

This place is largely visited by locals. The food is extremely fresh…right out of the ocean. The menus are limited, but all food is great. Try the grilled red snapper! They will let you see the fish to make sure it's fresh enough and the size you want to purchase.

Great beach for anyone the ramadas all have a varied menu but mostly fish and seafood.Average price food ,drinks are good and not overpriced. The tables are all under a covering or umbrellas. The wave action is usually calm and there is a great swimming area. Also you have other activities to do from this beach.

First off, let me begin by saying that Palaya La Boquita is NOT one restaurant, but a collection of establishments, or Ramadas on the beach. Ramada El Rey is our favorite, after visiting several over our years vacationing and living here in Manzanillo. We were there with vacationing friends this past week for a perfect beach afternoon. After a few... More

We have dined at this restaurant over the years frequently. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. However, the food has declined in quality while the price has increased. It is now a somewhat pricey place by comparison, and the food is average. Some of the staff do not speak english, so we ended up with something totally different than... More

Great beach for kids. Great for people watching on weekends. Mostly locals. Sunken ship right offshore is good for snorkelers. So is area where the river enters and up the coast from there. If you want to eat, my favorite Ramafa is Miraldos. Bring a cooler with beer or whatever. They do not care as long as you order food.... More
