Tacos

Meat lovers paradise. Good portions good price. No AC only fans. Tacos are your best bet , but I did find a mushroom plater for my vegetarian daughter and quesadillas

We had yet another great evening at El Fogan, the food was excellant. Mojocetes Shrimp and Beef combination is very good, as well as the Portobella Mushroom with 3 cheeses as an appetizer. They also have live music for your dining experience. Bring bug spray, just in case, however this trip it wasn't needed. English speaking.

We walked past El Fogon & immediately turned right back around. The place was decorated like you were in the heart of the jungle/deep tropics. There was a lady making homemade fresh corn tortillas non stop & the smell was phenomenal!! The platter you get with chips before your meal is absolutely amazing, I posted a pic of it. Its,... More

We visited this restaurant for supper on a Thursday evening. It was not overly busy at the time of our visit. We were greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff and seated wherever we chose. Our server promptly attended to our needs and spoke excellent English. One of our group had a traditional shaved ice margarita, which was presented in... More

This place had such a cool atmosphere, felt like you were sitting in the amazon with waterfalls and bridges and all open air as well. The servings were huge, we all ended up filling up on apps and had to split our main meals. Sangria was to die for! They had a man playing his guitar and singing mexican songs,... More

We ate here twice. The first time was very good. The service was good as was the food. We decided to go back because we enjoyed our first time. On our second visit the service was poor, he forgot our appetizer and brought it part way through our meal. My meal was bland and greasy. Not sure if I would... More

While the ambiance is attractive this is one of those restaurants that is inconsistent at best..they have mastered the art of the shrinking platter and spreading the food thinner to achieve the illusion of decent portions during the winter.. The wait staff can only be described as sullen to mutinous but, they shine when at making errors on the bill... More

We haven't been in 5 years but we're not disappointed! Food is very authentic. Try the sizzling pots served in black lava bowls. Huge portions! Fajitas are also great. The chips and assorted salsas served when you arrive are so delicious! Service was fantastic! Prices reasonable. Usually live acoustic guitarist traveling about the tables. We have been going for over... More

Had not been here for several years. Used to go a few times every winter and the inattentive of the wait staff drove us away. Hoped there was change. Initially the waiter seemed to be above average and took and filled drink orders quickly. The beer I ordered, came and the waiter told me there was only 1 left so... More

This is usually one of our first stops. The Aztec soup is great and my hubby has to have it at least twice during our stay in Manzanillo. A bowl of soup each and sharing the shrimp salad was a very ample meal for the 2 of us. We definitely have it on our schedule for next year. And, if... More
