Fun Night !!

We didn't really have a meal there -- just appetizers and drinks when we met up with my brother. But it was excellent service and a beautiful restaurant. We're going back to Manzanillo in February 2015, so we'll have to go there for a nice meal.

This is the place for MEAT. The steaks are large, they are tender, fixed to your specification and oh, so delicious. Prices are about what you would pay at a good steak house in the states (not one of the Ruth Chris or other big name sports star types). Prices range from around $19 to $29 US depending on the... The food was absolutely awesome here, a true meat lovers paradise. The restaurant looked good with a small band playing in the corner, service was good. But when we got the check, everything was written in Spanish and the price appeared to be way too high. They had added 3 extra main courses and around 5 drinks to our order,... More

We went there as a party of 8. We chose to sit on the 2nd floor which is open to the outside with a view of the bustling street. We were set up and placed drink and food orders and then the mosquitos came! We asked to be moved downstairs and inside and we were accommodated quite quickly without any... More

The restaurant looks good from the outside, nice ambiance in the inside. Especially on the first floor! Nice live music and a view on the avenue. The food/meat is very good, service is also good. We had two dishes in our group that were a little bit too spicy. Without hesitation they food was prepared without the peppers. Everything comes... More

If you are a meat lover this place is for you. The wait staff was extremely welcoming and helpful from the time we walked in the door until we left. Our 1/2 order included 4 steaks on a grill on the table. It's open air at the front and fun to watch the traffic go by. Worth every penny or... More

A group of five of us wanted to eat off the resort - we had heard good things about this restaurant so decided to give it a try. Coming from beef country in Alberta, we know and love our beef and I can say we were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. All five of us raved about the tenderness of... More

I had dinner at the El Vaquero on the recommendations of a friend. A great recommendation it was. The rib eye steak was cooked to perfection. The service was exceptional and the ambiance noteworthy. Rather pricy but all considered, well worth the price. I will visit again when in town.

You must have their arrachera - steak made the Mexican way! It's fabulous. Rather than a baked potatoe with it, it comes with a cooked onion - delicious - and again, the Mexican way! There are two locations - one on the main street close to Walmart, and one further down the street towards Manzanillo. The one further down the... More
