Tucked out of the way but worth finding

A little off the beaten path in Santa Cruz but we are glad we found it. They have indoor and outdoor seating, we ate outside. I had the fish burger, the menu said it was fried, but it wasn't. My hubby had the arracherra burger, which he said was excellent. Little potatoes and lightly fried... read more

We had the opportunity to go to this restaurant on two separate occasions, once with friends and the second time with my kids. The first time we had fresh Mahi Mahi and it was amazing. On the next visit I wanted something lighter so had the spinach salad. Two of my kids had a sandwich and my other son had... More

we had the fresh caught today mahi mahi, recommended by Giovanni. Served with pineapple and guijillo, and mashed potato. Also enjoyed a Bahama mama and tamarindo margarita. Giovanni welcomes you with a wonderful smile and goes out of his way to satisfy customers. Wishing you much success.

An excellent little restaurant on the walkway through Santa Cruz. The baguettes are wonderful. They could easily be shared. The Mahi-mahi almondine was very tasty. The dessert crepes a real treat. The owner Giovanni is warm and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals here and look forward to returning on our next trip to Huatulco.

I had shrimp my husband the chicken cordon and both dishes were excellent. Great service, nice ambience and very clean. I think this place will be my favourite for breakfast, lunch & dinner! Thanks for your hospitality, Gonzalo Giovanni!

I wish I could give this restaurant a more positive review - I think we hit a bad day for the chef. My curried shrimp was tasty enough but my husband's beef was gristly, fatty and over salted. Service was very spotty as our server seemed inexperienced and unfortunately it was the poorest for one of us that we had... More

First time to this restaurant and it is a must place to eat. Stopped for lunch and had mahi mahi. It was excellent. Also had dessert which was also excellent. We will be back again. Very polite staff and reasonably priced.

Four of us had lunch here last week - two ordered burritos and two ordered sandwiches. When our meals were served we very pleased with the presentation and size of our meals. We all agreed that this was the best lunch we have had in the Huatulco area. We asked for our leftovers to go - they were wrapped for... More

We had a fabulous meal at Bossa Nova recently and would highly recommend this restaurant. I had a curried shrimp dish and my husband had a burger. Both dishes were wonderful. Giovanni and his staff are so attentive and will do very well in this location when word gets out. Definitely one of our new favorites in the Huatulco area!

We were at Bossa Nova a week ago and had a fantastic meal. The shrimp are delicious and the chicken cordon blue was the best we had ever nd had. The restaurant is small (nine tables) and very quaint. It is in Santa Cruz attached to the Hotel Huatulco Maxico. Stop by and you won't be disappointed.
