2nd time here and it's better than the last. If they still have the stuffed fillet steak on the menu then you MUST try it. Excellent food, excellent service and excellent place. Helmut and Manfred are the best hosts. Must do in Huatulco!

As good as advertised. We had to wait for a table to open up and were given some toasted bread while enjoying a drink. The Schnitzel was light and delicious served with perfectly prepared tiny potatoes. The Mahi special was excellent including the vegetables. One very loud lady with a large group was the only downside of the evening.

We visited Café Viena 3 times during our 8 day stay in Huatulco and it was our firm favourite. We enjoyed the food very much and sampled the schnitzel, goulash, fish curry and other specials and all were very delicious especially accompanied by their nice Malbec. The waiting staff were very pleasant and we would definitely be regulars if we... More

It had been recommended to try Cafe Viena so we had dinner and it was so good we went back a second time and were glad we did. Food was delicious, we dined on stroganoff, a pork dish, pasta and a thai curry. All were fabulous. The apple streudel was so good, I would go back just to have that!... More

Food is categorized under cuisine on the menu. Great Austrian, Italian or Thai options. Yes, Thai. The chef cooked in Thailand for some time. Service, quality and experience were exceptional. Server Manfred is a crack-up. Chef Helmut stopped by the table to chat. I had the red snapper in thai red sauce with the ginger fried rice. Rest of our... More

This is by far the best restaurant in Hautulco. The staff is extremely friendly and so welcoming. The food is to die for and I do not understand why it isn't #1 on the Huatulco restaurant list. If you're heading to Huatulco, be sure to head to Cafe Viena for a treat!

Great food, service and atmosphere. A little expensive for Huatulco standards, but well worth it. The owners are part of the dining experience. Bring cash, no Credit Cards. You can't go wrong with a meal here!

My husband, our daughter and myself dined here mid November. They have a very eclectic menu with several Austrian selections I had the Hungarian goulash....fantastic! Our daughter had the Thai curry (vegetarian) and loved it. She wanted to go back later that week for more, and my husband had a beef dish which was also very good. Great service and... More

Defiantly check this out if you are looking for a change from Mexican. I had the beef stroganoff, which was probably the best I have ever dad. Worth checking out.
